Hi everybody! I finally received my AP and EAD last week. They were approved on march 19th, within 75 days from the date of my RFE response. but Online statements say that they are still pending....My AOS interview is next week :)

K-1 visa

I-129F -sent on 20 March 2008

I got my visa on 28 Aug 2008

Arrival to US on 30 Aug 2008

I got my SSN on 26 Sept 2008

We got married on 1 oct 2008

I got my ID card on 15 oct 2008

AOS

3 NOV 2008- I-485,I-131,I-765 sent to Chicago

13 NOV 2008- check was cashed

18 NOV -I got 3 NoA for my papers dated 13 Nov 2008

24 NOV- biometrics NOA

4 DEC- biometrics appointment

13 DEC- RFE (tax papers)

26 DEC, 31 DEC, 8 JAN- biometrics had to be retaken :(

9 JAN - Case processing has resumed

4March- AOS Interview NOA

7 APR- green card interview -approved

I-751- conditions removal Vermont SC

19 Jan -sent the package

21 Jan- the package was received by USCIS (NOA dated 1/25)

28 Jan- check was cashed

24 Feb- Fingerprints Appointment

6 July - Approval notice

9 July - Green card received

Hi everybody! I finally received my AP and EAD last week. They were approved on march 19th, within 75 days from the date of my RFE response. but Online statements say that they are still pending....My AOS interview is next week :)

Congrats Sertina!! Goodluck with the interview.

We received the green card yesterday in the mail. Yay! But there is an error with the information on it. So, will have to file for correction. I guess USCIS and I are going to have more dates unfortunately.... :P

MY TIMELINE

11/21/2008 - I-130, I-864, I-485, I-765, I-131 - Package sent.

11/25/2008 - Delivered to Chicago Lockbox.

12/05/2008 - Checks Cashed and NOA1 date (DAY 1)

12/12/2008 - NOA1 & Biometrics received dated 12/5 (DAY 8)

12/22/2008 - Received RFE letter by USPS (DAY 18)

12/23/2008 - Mailed back RFE requirements (DAY 19)

12/31/2008 - Case processing resumed for I-485 (DAY 27)

01/02/2009 - Biometrics Appointment (DAY 29)

01/30/2009 - EAD Card production ordered (on hubbz's birthday!! What a nice present from USCIS!) (DAY 57)

02/02/2009 - Got email for AP approved as of 1/30. (DAY 60)

02/09/2009 - Received EAD and AP in mail. (DAY 67)

03/24/2009 - Interview at 1pm - APPROVED! (Thank God! DAY 115)

03/27/2009 - Received Welcome Letter and NOA2 for I-485 and I-130. (Day 118)

04/02/2009 - Received Green Card. (Day 124)

12/24/2010 - Time to file for removal of conditions - I-751

01/03/2011 - Mailed I-751 package to VSC

01/04/2011 - I-751 received and signed for at USCIS

01/07/2011 - Check cashed by USCIS

01/12/2011 - Received NOA dated 01/05/2011

01/29/2011 - Received Biometrics appointment notice dated 1/20/2011

02/03/2011 - Biometrics Appointment (Great sunny day. In and out in 10 minutes! Very pleasant folks.)

03/10/2011 - Status online changed to Approved & USCIS mailed approval notice and card

03/14/2011 - Received 10yr green card in mail (Praise the Lord!)

lol now they're making errors on the cards! will have to look over benny's carefully whenever it arrives

Hey everyone, it has been a looong time since I've checked in here due to my dad getting sick in Feb and passing away 2 weeks ago.

Congrats to those of you who have been approved for your GCs! I read back a few pages and was happy to see the big fat approvals :)

My hubby & I have our interview at the end of this month and we really don't have that many joint bills or whatever to show. We currently live with my mom and pay her rent, but there's no official lease agreement and there are no bills for utilities in our names.

Should I have her write up a letter stating that we are living with her and paying her $xxx.xx per month and have her get it notarized?

Also, we have a joint savings account and we each have our own checking accounts. We have cell phones on a family plan, but its only in my name.

He's also on my work health insurance, but each of us have our own cards with our own names on them...I'm guessing I could get paperwork from my boss if need be showing that he's added under my insurance.

What other types of things should we have?

I think you should get the letter from your Mom as you mentioned. Take all the other things you said. We only had a lease, cell phone family plan, joint gym membership, and car insurance (it didn't actually show that it was joint, but I explained that they were linked)... Do you have photos? Letters addressed to both of you?

Now that you mention it, I do believe we have cards from my family from our small engagement/birthday party that have both our names on it. I will dig those out and put them in with our wedding photo album as a back up.

I received an email today dated Friday stating card production has been ordered for Benny's green card.
