are there people who are still waiting for their interview dates? i'm starting to worry about my case because i saw a post from a girl who has the same local office as mine and she filed late january and now she received her interview letter. she is also adjusting from K1. i really don't understand what's going on. i know that cases are handled differently but it's frustrating when people who filed 2 mos. after you have already interview dates. i would understand if we're from a different local office. i feel so unlucky with these immigration stuffs. during my K1 days lots of ppl who filed after me have been approved while my case is still pending. i'm thankful though that i have an EAD already and that I have a job now but hey i also want my greencard.

Cassi, Mymee, Sal and Jay, myself. For all that I know, none of us got their dates for interview. I have seen generally people got the IL about 3 weeks after EAD. It is about time we should get the letters. RIGHT USCIS? :) Give us an interview date mid April.

11/17/08 : Application sent (I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765)

11/18/08 : Official receipt of documents stated on I-797C (Signature for receipt at USCIS was on 11/17/2008 at 10PM)

11/28/08 : NOA Received ( I-797C) for all 4 forms (forms issued on 11/26/2008)

12/18/2008: LUD on I-130, I-131, I-765

01/29/2009: Bio done

01/29, 30/2009: LUD on I485 and I765

2/10/2009: issued AP, valid 1 year for multiple entries.

2/23/2009: Got EAD card

3/8/2009: LUD on all applications. Shows approval of I131 and I765, still pending on I130, I485.

04/28/2009 at 9:30 AM: Interview. Told to wait 90 days for a resolution by mail.

05/01/2009: Card production ordered.

05/06/2009: Received approval NOAs for I130 and I485 (welcome notice, 10 years card). I130 still shows case received and pending.

06/18/2009: got the 10 years validity card. Process length: 213 days since sending the applications.

No RFE at all along the process.

i wonder what causes the cases to vary so greatly. i sent in my package on nov 14 and i got approved at my interview on feb 19.

i wonder what causes the cases to vary so greatly. i sent in my package on nov 14 and i got approved at my interview on feb 19.

From what we have seen it seems to depend on how large, and how busy, your local office is, combined with some of the specifics of your case such as wether you entered the US on a valid K1 or on the back of a truck from Mexico!

Also if you are given a RFE, this seems to really slow things down - they need to send the letter, wait for your response, look at your response and put it with your case file, then place it back in the queue and reset the 90 day ticking clock. Sal and Jay, from the looks of your case, they received the RFE on the 2nd Feb - that gives them til around the 2nd of May to actually do anything with the AOS (and the EAD/AP since they are linked to the AOS).

5-13-09: Green card approved.

6-24-09: Received green card.

8-13-11: Received 10-year green card.

2-21-12: Sent N-400 to Dallas Lock box.

7-18-12: Naturalization interview (passed!).

I am waiting for the interview too. The EAD was received in January.....since then ...nothing.... And it is already March. :angry:

August 2004 - met hubby

July 2006 - Got married

11/15/07 - Waiver Approved!

01/28/08 - Husband picked up by ICE for overstaying

01/31/08 - husband back home on a $2,500 bond

02/21/08 - first hearing

03/10/08 - Sent I-130 to CSC

03/14/08 - Received NOA1

07/29/08 - Case sent to local office (Chicago)

10/06/08 - I-130 Interview

10/06/08 - I-130 Approved

11/03/08 - Removal Case Terminated!!!

AOS

11/17/08 - Sent I-485

11/18/08 - Package delivered

11/28/08 - Received NOA

12/19/08 - Biometrics

01/26/08 - EAD Approved

05/04/09 - Interview!!!!!

Their "We process cases in the order we receive them" note in the NOAs seems so bogus with all that. It's like false advertising.

i bet they have some sort of internal formula for how cases are dealt with. i refuse to believe that they handle cases based on how they receive them..

i bet they have some sort of internal formula for how cases are dealt with. i refuse to believe that they handle cases based on how they receive them..

It's obvious they don't...I don't see how they could prove they do.
