I was just talking about old cars and keeping them operational I'll admit to owning a few "parts cars" during my college years (and a few years after) to keep my primary vehicle operational. A good parts car can save you tons of $$$$ if you're mechanically inclined. Now ... if something "sexy" was on the hood when I purchased the car, it had better have been mechanically inclined or it would have been an unneeded expense.
