Do you have a 7-11 near you?
No 7-11s in Alaska.

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.

Update: My life is already starting to get better. Today while I was at 7-11, I found a dime on the floor.

:secret: there's your change!

And it's change I can believe in.

i hope i find some change.

Do you have a 7-11 near you?

too far a trip. but wear an ice jacket next time you go in. stare at the guy behind the counter. if you can, get a boom mike for a computer and put that on, run the wire under your shirt and whisper into it.

Temporary euphoria. Nothing surprising about that.

Temporary euphoria.

Permanent event in history.

Does history have impermanent events? Edited by akdiver

Barack Obama is the first Black president in US history - I get that.

But I don't think that will be as exciting (or as relevant) when Obama takes office and the reality kicks in. Inevitably plans change - priorities shift and people will realise (again) that they can't have everything they want right away. I've already written off comprehensive healthcare reform as something that's going to happen in the next 4 years.

I don't say this because I think Obama is going to suck at the presidency, but because there is ALWAYS disappointment once the euphoria dies away.

Does history have impermanent events?

And here I thought every Presidential election outcome was permanent?

America runs on Dunkin' so why you hatin' G?

FWIW, HAL 9000's visits to the double D have been pleasant encounters with Indians.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Yes, history is constantly revised and people's perspective of the importance of events changes. Generally speaking the further back in time an event is, the less likely someone is going to come up with a radically new theory that will challenge the 'importance' of that event, but it's not unknown. Footnotes in history.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

The facts of history itself do not change. What changes is the availability and interpretation of these facts.
