My case was completed at NVC on 10/17/2008. I keep calling NVC to ask if interview has been scheduled but nothing yet.

I have noticed alot of people that had thier case complete after me are already getting interview dates.

Wonder how scheduling works? Do they go by consulates or certain countries?

Our case was complete the 31st of October and I have been calling as well. I guess our best bet will be to call next week during the regular time frame. It seems that scheduling is done differently with different countries. For example, I noticed that through the Phillippines and India interviews are scheduled just a few days after the case completes. If only they'd do the same for us Juarez folks!

Hang in there! We'll know next week.

Hi Everyone, I received my NOA2 on Oct 10th, so it has been about a month, so in fact DO I WAIT FOR A PACKET? DOES MY FIANCE RECEIVE ONE IN MEXICO? I have heard conflicting reports here about this. I need to know as I have a trip planned to Mexico on the 27thNOV-14thDEC and I want to be prepared, especially if I can plan a trip to Juarez during this time for an interview. Seems like I can call NVC from what I read, will they schedule an interview with or without this packet? I have got a few weeks but I want to be ready!

Thanks everyone for your help.

PS, how do you attach your timeline to your posts like some do?

gracias todos!

Hey, Marko,

It sounds like your applying for the fiance visa (I-129 F). If that is the case, I'm not quite sure what happens after NOA2.

You might do better asking your question in this part of the forum for fiance visa applicants:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showforum=80

This post there might help you as well...

As far as posting your timeline at the bottom of your post...that one I can answer!

Just go to the "My Controls" link at the top of the page and click on "Edit Signature". From there, you can type in whatever you'd like and it will show up at the bottom of every post.

Congratulations on getting this far! Good luck with the rest!
