I just want Obama to leave the constitution intact. Is that asking too much?

Should I feel different now that I'm rich?

But you ARE Rich.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Aye - Obama didn't mean people with lots of money. What he actually meant was that he plans to impose a 60% tax rate on anyone with the name Rich, Richard, Richie etc ;)

I am happy about Obama's decisive victory and hopeful that better days for America are ahead of us. The clean-up of the last eight disastrous years will be some effort. I am confident, however, that Obama will assemble the right team and provide effective leadership to successfully tackle that task.

Lucky, as for the constitution, just chill out. You actually have a much better chance at having it left intact with Obama as President than you would have under a McCain administration. Remember, it was Bush and the Republicans who trampled on the Constitution every chance they got.

I'm feeling good right now, as I will come Jan 20th.

My concern, possible like other Brits, is that Obama may turn out to be another Blair. The euphoria after nearly two decades of Tory rule when Blair was elected seems similar to the US today. It appears that power corrupted poor Tony - unless he hoodwinked the nation from the very beginning. My fear would be something akin to that in this scenario. However, Obama appears measured and grounded. Washington will not give up its cosy number easily, and that battle will be long, hard and ultimately potentially fruitless. I hope he sticks at it. Slogan or no, people do want change. Given a fair crack at the whip, I do believe he is someone who could pull it off.

Obama makes me vomit.

He will be a weak president, and will bring 4 years of gloom and doom on the USA.

No leadership skills, and now he going to lead the free world.

Sad day in America Politics.....

Only time will tell how he will do. Something sure needs to change, this mess with Wall Street has nearly sunk the entire world economy

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Unlike the current resident of the White House who has caused such enthusiasm amongst Americans?
