Hello Chicagoan VJers,

In my walks the last few days I fell in love with more of it.

Although I get that Winter is coming (and I am a Summer girl), there can be fun in the sun!

How about an (ice) skating date on a Saturday afternoon in magical Millennium Park?

They are actually already trying to make ice...hahaha. A little too hot for that.

And maybe in a few weeks it will be perfect.

(Just in time for my return from Florida, ha!)

I love Cloud Gate!

That could be one idea and then at a later date a dinner at a Redstone or something equally big in the burbs, too.

They make a killer cookie/ice-cream desert to die for. Yummmm...

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

I'm sorry to report that I will be in SoFla for a little while. B)

And so when I get back, I will absolutely need to have fun outdoors and not freeze to death. Hahaha.

Skating possibility dates?

There may even be ice then!

How about: November 29th around 1pm?

Just a thought and although it is quite far away in the future and who knows what life can throw at us...think about it.

Awww...I had truly wanted to experience figure skating with a computer as a skating partner.
