Good Morning Wonder-Full VJers,

So whatever happened, happened.

We cannot go back and change the past.

What we can do is move forward united, in strength and love.

I would say all this no matter who was elected.

The important thing is to realize the errors of how elections are done in the U.S. and to make your voices heard.

You, the individual has power. You can keep on the path of anything you feel needs to get done.

Say things without anger behind it, and with love and understanding and watch the entire world change.

(Earnest? Yes, and so what?! Hahaha!)

1. Too much money collected and spent. It shows disregard to how valuable money is spent. If there is so much money available why is it not used/allocated for something needed?

2. Election process: too long.

3. Party leader should be picked by their own party.

4. Too much emphasis on leader's personal life and not the national and global issues.

5. Vice president could be runner up. Checks and balances would work better.

You all know that nothing can happen without you letting it, allowing it.

So although there is a "leader" of the country, anything you feel strongly about you can keep calling, writing and other ways of getting your point across to your community, your city, your state, your country.

It is high time to realize the fighting/war is a mindset and a nation divided is a nation conquered.

You know what I mean jelly beans?

Let's pool our energies towards something positive and stop tearing at each other.

If we at VJ cannot do a simple positive thing, how could we expect the country (the world) to improve, to rise up, to heal?

It is all up to each of us.

Engage!

Good BEAUTIFUL Morning to you Spirit.

I hope your thread of peace blossoms,

but from my experience, they're just not too popular around here.

Some people prefer to be unhappy.

God Bless America.

Seriously? We spend more money than we collect. Did you know that?

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

does you mean that we might be heading toward a credit crisis? :o

We're piling up huge debt as a country.

Hubby threatened to leave to Canada last night. I reminded him about "socialized" healthcare. He decided to stay until February 20th. He's not a fan of this whole change thing.
