Obama Wants 12 Million Illegals to Get Citizenship

And the rhetoric continues... McCain & Obama had virtually identical policies in regard to immigration. In fact most of the major candidates had some sort of path for illegal immigrants to get citizenship. Personally I have mixed feelings on the issue but to suggest Obama was alone in promoting this policy is misleading to say the least.

Quite true. Our own Senator Kennedy is at the head of the pack for immigration reform. He and some of his fellow Democrats felt that the Bush proposal was too harsh. Obama is not alone on this at all. McCain would do the same thing. And guess what response I got when I wrote to Kennedy for help on my wifes case? But we gotta help all the illegals.

If it becomes true, it is a SLAP in all our faces...all of us who suffered through this process.

I will definitely join a march if it becomes a fact. I will no just sit quiet...

Illegals decided to live their lives the way they did. I have no pity, except maybe for the kids who got dragged EWI by their parents while minors.

AOS Approved on 10-17-08 (details in profile)

Removal of Conditions on 07-19-10

In this tedious process, we tend to forget that this is all worth it.

I love my hubby beyond anything in this world.

I'm with you Obama!

It's interesting what the ancestors of these same illegal immigrants are saying. Every country has offered those illegal immigrants citizenship and it worked.

Out with the old in with the new!

What is a slap in the face is America not apologizing to the Native Americans for their ancestors coming here illegally and trying to work with all people regardless of skin color.

Some people have truly forgot their ancestors were once also "illegal immigrants" hahaha! Show me some documents asking the Native Americans permission to come here.

Moving along!!!!!

lol, I'm sure a few of us thought of that, but apparently it isn't easy for a person from the middle east to get a visa into Mexico. At least that is what I heard.

True. My Husband tried already before we were married. LOL. Since he wasn't accepted into the "Western States" he wasn't accepted into bordering states either.

First, he have to fix this problem.

MOSCOW, Russia (CNN) -- Just hours after U.S. President-elect Barack Obama delivered his victory speech, Russia's leader delivered a scathing rebuke of U.S. policy and reminded Obama of some of the major foreign policy challenges he will face in office.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev makes the address to the nation in Moscow's Kremlin.

In his first state-of-the-nation speech since taking office earlier this year, President Dmitry Medvedev warned that Russian missiles will be deployed against the planned U.S. missile shield in eastern Europe.

"The Iskander missile system will be deployed in Kaliningrad region to neutralize, when necessary, the missile shield," Medvedev said. "We are also planning to use the resources of the Russian naval fleet for these purposes."

Moscow has long been infuriated by a U.S. plan for the defensive missile installation, which includes basing missile interceptors in Poland. Russian officials previously warned that such a move would open Poland up to an attack in the event of conflict.

Under the U.S. plan, the interceptor rockets in Poland would be linked to an air-defense radar system in the Czech Republic. Watch more about the Kremlin attack on U.S. policy »

Russia fears the missile shield would blunt its nuclear deterrent.

Funny how a thread in November has turned out to be the truth in February. Fear mongering in November?

More like a crystal ball.

Read the story and weep. This is Dim change in February. Napolitano has raked ICE over the coals about recent raids of workplaces employing illegal aliens. Not to mention Harry Reid nixing E-Verify requirement for employers getting stimulus funds. All these clowns are concerned with is amnesty for illegal aliens and their future patronage. That is what their definition of immigration reform is.

After 2 previous "comprehensive immigration reforms" in 1986 & 1996 that have encompased 7 previous illegal alien amnesties, lots of promises, and even more lies...is anyone stupid enough to buy the lies these jerk-offs are selling in 2009?

All they care about is party politics and getting their party reelected. Americans out of work and all these jerks care about is themselves. Anybody surprised? Not I. Welcome to the change. Enjoy!

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX)

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995

Bill O'Reilly was right after all - it's a conspiracy to create a one-party system in America.

O'REILLY: The New York Times wants open borders. They want all the 12 million illegal people who will be legalized to bring in their extended families, not just wives and children, but moms and dads, brothers and sisters. This would lead to, by my calculation, 40 or 50 million foreign nationals being absorbed into the United States in the next 12, 13 years. That would sink the Republican Party, I believe, because we'd have a one-party system and change, pardon the pun, the whole complexion of America. Am I wrong?

SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, R-ARIZ.: No, you're right.

O'REILLY: And I am. Now, that simple explanation drives The Times nuts because it exposes their true agenda. They want a one-party system in America. A liberal fiat.
