LOL...Ok, I'll start! I just talked to one cranky Moroccan who spent the day in Casablanca getting his medical done. He had to run around to different places to get everything done. First to the doc, then to the pharmacy to buy the vaccines, then to the laboratory to get his blood drawn, then to another place to get his chest x-ray and then back to the doc to get his exam and vaccines. EEK! I just called him this morning and he said "Baby, it's a lot...a lot!"....I think it's kinda funny, it sounds fitting for the chaotic everyday Moroccan way of business - the hustle and bustle of going from point A to point B to C and back to A, etc yet he didn't like the disorganization of this :lol:

I dont think you need it - as long as you have an interview date and your case number. But the packet also has the list of doctors, so if you dont have that, then you'll have to wait. (or email the consulate in Madrid to see if they can give you the list by email)

Hi all;

i want tell you that the medical exams are not A LOT A LOT as our friend mentioned;i went to the doctor Zirari; the only place u'll need to go to, is the laboraatory for ur chest Xrays;bllod test are done just upstaires; the pharmacy to get ur vaccins is just close to the doctor right on the corner;and nothing is difficult with having ur medical tests done the only thing that need a bit of time is the chest xrays caus it takes time to get the results and bring it back to the doctor.good luck for evrybody.

Um. Well, ok. Sorry to mislead. Just basing on what my fiance told me this morning.

I will keep our experiences to ourselves.

FYI, there are 3 doctors - I'm sure each one does things differently.

i read rachbel's post as just relating his experience and trying to be helpful. it didn't sound like he was accusing anyone of lying or exaggerating-just relating that if you go to dr zirari, you'll have an easier time of it.

Yes he's relating his experience but also saying that what my fiance said about his experience isn't true.

Perhaps he should have worded it differently.

Come on, you all know that I never get my feathers ruffled on here....but this one just rubbed me the wrong way.

Hi

i just wanted be helpful for those going through their medical exams; Maybe the doctor that ur friend visited is not the same one i choosed, i mentioned mine, but your friend didnt , so if ther is a misunderstanding it is from ur side :) and i never said ur Fiance is a liar , he was just repeating what his friend told him ; the chat or a forum is a small dimension and can cause miunderstanding but i didnt mean it bad , beleive me ;i just discussed the opinion from my own experience.i wish u and ur fiance a very easy step; good luck .

I actually took it the same way that Star_Dragon did. I think the problem is that the english isn't quite so clear, so that can make for easy misenterpretations.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'
