Is Obama really our first black president?

Obama is half-white. His father, who was black, abandoned him and his mother when he was about two years old. He lived with his white mother and white grandparents. This being the case, if he is half black and half white - isn't it just as accurate to call his a white president as it is to call him a black president?

Hmmm....Well to the topic, I would say he's black b/c his skin tone is black. This also adds the diversity.
