Hello!

Can a foreign national stay here in the Philippines for 21 days without securing visa? If so, what department we need to contact to verify on that?

Thanks!

Your expected departure date is stamped on your passport as you enter the phils, but some Americans that I met there said it was just a matter of applying for an extension which was about $60. if you wanted to stay past the 21 days allowed.

But in answer to your question, yes, 21 days is the normal maximum without the extension.

Yes...after the 21 days of stay You need to applyfor the extension waiver at the Bureu Of Immigration If you want to stay longer than 21 days. Its not a problem if you will pay/apply for the extension late but only you will pay for late fee :star: ...The extension waiver is cost 3,020 pesos. Good Luck on your trip :)

Yes, you get a 21 day visa upon entering the country. I think you need a return plane ticket but don't remember for sure. You can get a 59 day extension easily too. I did that a few times and my friend did it for four years.
