I am very proud that my application for US citizenship will occur under an Obama presidency. Tonight I heard the new mantra for the United States: 'Yes, we can". This is a message of hope for the future, not a message based on the greatness of the past or on what one man will do. The message is on what we can do, and that message is 'yes, we can'. I am proud to be in the US tonight on this momentous occasion and have no doubt that I can support President elect Barack Obama, a man I respect and admire as an individual and as the future President of the United States. Well done, Americans! Tonight we have seen the birth of a brand new America, one that will thrive in the new world ahead of us and can make all of us proud.

This is a great moment in history! I am happy Obama won last night for all of humanity it shows a sense of change which was long overdue. Not just because he is black but because we needed fresh ideas and a new leader who stands for all of humanity not just the wealthy or one race or color. He stands for all humans and I appreciate this most in him. He is intelligent and I believe he can help heal America of the sickness which lurks within. This country is filled with hatred, despite the melting pot. We are a blend of all races and nationalities and I appreciate the people who supported Obama with an open-mind and open-heart. Let's get past the color barrier people, he is a man and most of all he is a good man. We may not all agree on his policies, but let's give him time to prove he is a good president. Afterall, it will not take much for him to be a better president than Bush. I am very happy God made this possible for all of us in America! Worldwide many of my friends and family are amazed and well-pleased! Thanks God, you are the almighty!
