hope and change are better than scare tactics and 'if you don't vote for me, the terrorists will win'... hope and change are better than illegal wiretapping, illegal detention of people in guantanamo, and a senseless and unplanned war which has lead to nothing

True story. The head of the Obama campaign in Colorado called a talk show today to pump up his man. The talk show host, a well educated, urbane conservative asked him specific questions about how Obama was going to achieve this, that and the other wonderful things he was promising. The Obama guy could not answer one question. He strained, stammered, repeated platitudes, but had NO IDEA about Obama's fiscal, foreign policy, judicial philosophies, and could not explain one.

What we know about Obama is that he is surrounded by people who know how to raise money, put on a show, and work the media. Whether they can run a government remains to be seen, and that will be done on training wheels.

Now, I heard a caller into a radio station earlier on Tuesday saying Obama is a "communist, imbecile".

I called back to the that radio was aired, live, and responded...."On what grounds did you say he's an imbecile? Last time I checked you didn't go to college. Another thing, communism? There's a real political party consisting of approximately 40 or so people. Again, last time I checked, Obama is in the Democrat's party. In fact, he was recommended by alot of Democrats. So, you also mention guilt by association. Therefore, if I follow correctly that all the Democratic party are communists. In your world, this would happen.
