Nessa I also did ballet, gymnastics, and I was a cheerleader. The lovely thing about all of those is I'm so f*cking flexible now and it's great for naughty times  I eventually gave up all of those when tennis became my life. I played the clarinet for a few weeks until I decided I totally sucked at it and gave up.

:secret: nessa still plays the flute.

#######. No musical education for me. My mamma stuck me on folkloric Mexican dance classes, flamenco (my grandparent's condition for loving all their grandkids), Hawaiian, etc. Started French at 6 and since my dad was a Saturday chess teacher, I got on with that one too. Geez, I think I had a busier schedule when I was 8

Earlier I went into the "piano room" as we call it (seriously we're that lame) and played a few tunes. Normally the only time it's ever used is when the little ones bang on it and wake me up

btw, I enjoyed myself

eta: that was the first time in a long time

I am so sick it's not funny. My eyes hurt and burn, my nose is all stuffy and red from so much blowing with the tissue, and now I have a headache. Not cool. :dead:

And I have to stay here until 5 thanks to the darn faculty hiring #######.

Len I can practice being a doctor on you too...

First, make a massive cup of hot tea. Then, soak in a hot bath while sipping on your tea. Next, drink 1qt of fresh squeezed orange juice followed by a few swigs of your favorite cold medicine and two ibuprofen. Finally, lay in bed or on the couch and watch tv until you fall asleep. If you wake up before morning just repeat these steps.

Ok people I'm outta here! I have lots of stuff to do and I don't wanna do anything because it's cold outside :crying:

On a happy happy note, my friend Goldie is in town from NYC and I haven't seen her since August!

On a sad note, the other one who drives me nuts is staying the weekend with me :dead:

Len I hope you feel better soon!
