Ever have one of those days, when all seems to be right with the world and then out of no where you get a smack in the teeth?

That's how I feel. My current mood/emotion is very low right now. My job is quite volatile at the moment and unfortunately I wear it very hard. I find it hard to let go and move on. Any 'failure' I take very personally. :(

Awww bless, what have they done to you?? Try not to take things to personally, that's what I do. People might have a bad day, are grumpy because of a thousand things that happened. I hope you feel better soon. xoxo

I think if I could get my interview date at least that would be one thing off my mind.

I'm eating carrots with ranch dressing right now. But not just regular ranch dressing, it's the kind you mix with sour cream. OMG! I think I could just eat the ranch dressing by itself. It is sooo good.:lol:

Use celery, that way you can scoop more of the dressing!!! :D:thumbs:

I feel that way sometimes at my job too. I'm a department head and I have some pretty catty people in my department who are very sure they know everything....if you know what I mean. I am, and I know this will come as a shock to some since I'm pretty opinionated, a really kind person -- and I hate the mean-ness and the cutting down that some people give others. You do have to just think to yourself "they must be really unhappy to be so awful to others" and hopefully that will make you feel better. I send good juju to you!

Booty...you make me smile!

So we have another snow day and it's actually snowing this time, but just barely. Since we have so many kids who come from several cities (we're a private school so we don't have a "district" in the traditional sense) if more than one or two areas is hard hit then we have to cancel or late start. This morning when I was calling my department members they're all telling me how it's a freaking blizzard where they live and I'm thinking ... #######? We have no snow, no ice, and it's not even THAT cold (30, but not ridiculous). Apparently it awful everywhere else.

Patrick started his new job today! I'm so excited! We'll have two incomes soon (woot!) and I hope he likes it.

I'm glad I could entertain you all. I think, because the Zofran has worn off at this point, that I might actually be over the morning sickness. I actually feel as though I could eat anything. Yay! I'm so excited. Of course, after hearing yesterday at the doctor's office I had gained 10 pounds already I probably don't need to eat just anything. :P

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Dairyfarmer-I'm sorry you are down! (I know I don't post in here much lately but just wanted to add that!)

LOL, it's not a shock to me, I think you are nice. We all have opinions! I think you share them respectfully (unless the situation really needs someone to give someone a deserved smack down, you are good at that too, but that doesn't mean you aren't kind!). :)

Congrats on Patrick's new job!

I still have Christmas shopping to do. It's hard figuring out what to give certain people when you seem to give them almost the same thing every year, just a slight variation.

I was planning on shopping tomorrow after school, but since there's no school, which means a delayed paycheck....yeah.

I've made pressies for the kids and we're taking them to a nice dinner and the Nutcracker on the 26th for our family gift. I'm making most everything else for people, but I still need to get to the fabric store and get more things. I need ribbon to make head-bands for all the little girls and more fleece. Also, P photoshopped some collage posters for Oma and Opa and Mamere...Ah, well, no worries. With the snow now coming down like a blizzard here, I'm not leaving the house!

Poor P had to walk from the bus stop by our house to the one about 10 blocks away, which wouldn't be a big deal except for the snow and cold. Then the bus he was going to take had to unload and transfer them to another bus because the bridge on her route was closed! At least his company cannot doubt his dedication!!! Let's hope anyway because this could be a really great career!

Thanks, Stina :)

I know what you mean about giving people the same things every year. I just make blankets, hats, and scarves in different colors and themes!

I also have been making gifts, and bought or traded for a lot of handmade gifts. But I need something else for my Nana...she is hard to shop for! She doesn't really like crafty things, but she said she'd like a pillow with a cat shape on it so I made that. But I need something else for her.
