Wedding cake

I do love the simple traditional themes. Maybe red, white and green.

I like it simple too, but I am more a pastel colour girl - lavender, pink, baby blue, light turqoise and white. My cousin is having a cherry blossom/ pink/ espresso themed wedding, very pretty!

man, since i started working with children, the idea of unisex names p!sses me off so much. It's really frustrating when the mom calls to make a reservation to someone named Jourdan and I assume it's a girl, but no, it's a freaking boy. there i am asking is it her first time, or whatever, he, not she

i guess i could never be american enough to like some of the things americans do.

i just can't understand that. unless you expect your child to grow up to decide if they want to be a man or a woman, then i'd understand giving them a unisex name

in brazil we have names that are similar, but you can distinguish the sex with them ending ion either a - for girl or o - for boy. like renata, renato, adriana, adriano, you know? me and my mom don't even like female names that have a male version, like vanessa doesn't have a male version, my favortite girl name camila doesn't have a male version, i like when it's very feminine or very masculine.

i spend time on those pregnancy boards and they keep starting threads asking do you think it's ok to name a boy dakota, things like that. and then they all say you'll know that it's a boy, so why does it matter if the name is unisex?

well, you'll know it's a boy once u see the person, whic is not always possible. example: some marketing guy has to send them a letter, they never know if it's a ms. or a mr. it sucks. what should we do? mr(s)?

"It" or the generic "Hey you"

lol @ the name thing

I do agree, but then on the other hand you have the same problem with "foreign" names.

Beach wedding sounds good, but it's blistering hot and we'll be sweating and I need to wear sunnies, because I can't do bright light and all and we will look like sweaty piglets and then what is Pedro supposed to wear and bla bla bla so we will just postpone the decision until later.

Marilyn, realistically I also tend to agree with you that you will not be going  Wisdom teeth is a painful thing. And for a man even more, since they are whiney.

Can't he re-schedule?? I would really consider that, especially since lots of people get complications and have to go back to the dentist a few times...

January is long and drags - ideal for sick days!

yeah he could but then they would deduct the cost from next year.. we have a 1500 dollar a year deductible...
