now i remember why i used to hate secret santa when i was a kid, they'd always find a way to buy me that one thing that I would never wear, eat or use. It would be jewelry or some other crrap like that.

so today i had secret santa preview here and she bought me christmas tree ornament all i need now is a tree?

now to explain why i don't have a tree it's interesting seeing people's expression when i tell them we do not have one.

Nessa, why no tree? Jehovah's Witnesses? Or no tree decorating in Brazil? Inquiring/nosy minds want to know.

They don't have a tree because of the cats, but they will get one once the baby is there. I think that's what she said a few days back.

ok, here it goes:

i don't really care about it. I don't see the need to decorate if we have no kids and charles hates decoration. I don't see why would I decorate only for me just if he makes such a big deal out of it. Plus I don't wanna hear the whinning about how much nails damage the house value, even though we plan on living in that house til we retire , also he'd whine about electricity bills, the cats playing with the tree, etc.

Aha! Thanks. My hubby and I were trying to figure out what the heck we'll do next year when we have a tree with the baby crawling around. Maybe put a fence around it or something. There go all our nice glass bulbs and choking hazards. I love our tree, too. This will be a bummer.

i don't really care about it. I don't see the need to decorate if we have no kids and charles hates decoration. So you mean we should just kick Charles' azz about it and tell him to quit his bitchin'? But, I do know where you're coming from. I don't need tons of decorations and all...I just like a tree and few tchotchkes. I do have one cool thing that my grammy made 30 years ago...it goes over a toilet seat and it has Santa's face on the front, when you lift the lid he has his hands over his eyes.

ughhhhh...that test sucked...i knew what was going on for about 95% of the time...the rest was a freaking clusterf*ck. seriously i hate that prof and his impossible tests. he walked out of the room and we all just kinda looked at each other like #######

I'm thinking since he'll have to go to school and interact with mostly humans outside our house, it would be best for him to be raised as one, you know?
