Thanks y'all.

Now turns out charles is Texan; drinks Dr. Pepper + smokes. I wonder if he is my papa in law's illegitimate child, hence my illegitimate brother in law. :blink:

:dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance::devil:

She lived for 93 years. Had 2 kids, about 6 grandkids and 2 great-grandkids. She was diagnosed with dementia many years ago; so she was 'gone' way before yesterday, so we knew this was coming. She now rests, and my in-laws, which are the ones I will take care of, can have a bit of peace. Sounds like the sh1ts, but taking care of Rosie was quite draining on them; and they are not getting any younger. They will fly to Texas to bury her next to grandpa. (F)

where in texas is this?

Brady, TX

Yup, my pappa in law is Texan. My mamma in law is from Alabama. I thought they would burn me in the cross before letting Bren marry me :jest: , but they took one look at me and just luv'd me :luv: , I am THAT fabulous

i thought that name sounded familiar. the first new vehicle i ever bought was just east of there in burnet.

Are you from W. Texas Charles, or the Hill Country?

mom and dad's family is ne texas.

Sorry 'bout your loss Hermana "Fabulosa" grandpas are irreplaceable

The in-laws are from NC, the father-in-law is a retired Army Major, and I thought he was going to shoot my behind and hate me forever before meeting him.

WRONG, the in-laws love me and the major is my drinking, cigar-puffing buddy :D

Well, I have two older brothers so my dad can't use that as an excuse. Although, Javi does more for my parents than one of them ever thought about doing. The other one is always asking them for money. I think they love Javi so much because they know I'll never "need" anything as long as I'm with him. He definitely knows what the definition of hard work is.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

I hear you both. My inlaws were way too grateful yesterday for me being there making arrangements for grandma's departure. Like REALLY grateful. I just though "well, where the FFF was I supposed to be instead?" weird family dynamics :wacko:

I am sorry for your loss, Len (F) ...

I lost my last grandma last year (she was my favourite one too :( ) I didn't find out she died until the day of her funeral :( due mostly to my sister-in-law messing up
