Safe travels to you. I hope you have a wonderful visit with your loved one. Best wishes to him on the upcoming interview! I am looking forward to hearing how the interview goes for you, as my husband will have his interview there at the beginning of 2013. We are currently awaiting NOA2 approval. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Leaving in a week and a half two days to go over there to be with him (or nearby, at least) for his interview! I'm sure I'll be starting the posts full of panicky last-minute preparation questions any day now.

I went for about 1.5 days in January and really liked what I saw, but I'm looking forward to spending enough time to actually see something this time! We'll be in/around Nairobi for 8-9 days, which should be fun.

Good luck to you and Aaron, enjoy your trip and keep us posted

So, I think I've got the paperwork end of this pretty well in hand. But it would be really nice to have a bit of a list to share with Aaron from people who've done this recently(ish) of Things You Wish You'd Known Before Your Nairobi Interview. Anyone? Can be big things, little things, silly things, serious things, etc.: anything! For example, I recall someone here mentioning that the waiting rooms are kept very cold, so bringing a sweater or something to keep you warm is helpful.

I was in the waiting room and don't remember it being cold...but, that means little because honestly, they chased me out in about two seconds flat! LOL I honestly think you are in just the greatest shape because of all you have learned from VJ :star: You will be fine! :D ENJOY your time in Kenya...I miss it so much :P

Good luck on your interview Joy and Aaron. Yes, it can be cold especially if you are sitting outside int he waiting area. I thought I wa searly for my interview but i found about 100 people were ahead of me so we were in the outside waiting area and it was really cold there...so yes a sweater is important and a book to read because we waited quite a bit..i got there at 7am and i left at about 12:00 noon.

Don't forget to carry all the papers you need for evidence. With that I wis you God's blessing, God speed and good luck.

Waiting for the good news.

Hello everyone,

Its been two weeks since i got here to see my fiance and this is my third week and i am loving it. Sorry I took long to inform you guys.

I arrived here on 6th October and my POE was Washington Dulles Airport. The lines were terribly long and the officer was nice and he asked if i knew how to say "I love you" in Russian. It was nice seeing my Honey again.

Now planning a wedding and moving up and down. Thank you so much everyone here for all the help you gave us till this point. Wishing everyone God's blessings and much happiness.
