hi guys,im sorry i went missing for a while but iam back,not empty handed but with a good news,GOT MY VISAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can somebody help me scream.i love you guys and thx for everyone who has been following my story i really appreciate your emmotional help,especially to Jill.will be travelling on 5th june cant wait days are not moving whats going on!

Hi all,

I've gone through the probable interview questions. I wanted to know if the number of visits affect the outcome? You have to have met once in the last 2 years to petition for the K-1. We met only once.

Having more than one visit is better, but with only visiting once people have been approved. Be confident, and have all of your paperwork in the proper order. Hold your head high and don't be intimidated. You'll be fine. Stay strong and be blessed. Good luck with everything and let us know how it goes.

I agree, it can probably be overcome if you have plenty of evidence of bonafide relationship.

Thanks for the encouragement. I really want this to be over. NOA2 will be around this week. God willing.

Soon it will be over and it will feel like so long ago!! We went through K-1 two and a half years ago and it seems like a lifetime ago that we were on separate continents. Best of luck to you :) Keep us informed on how it goes!

Yes, it's a long haul. Hang in there...it will be over before you know it. Stay focused and positive and look forward to being with your loved one. That in itself will guide you through.

Yes, bring plenty of evidence of a bonafide relationship, i.e., emails, phone records, handwritten letters, photos of you two together, and the evidence should span over the time of your relationship to show that it's ongoing. Be organized...put everything in a labeled folder so if you're asked for it, you can just pull out that specific folder. If the CO asks for something, you don't want to be fumbling through looking for it because they will lose their patience (actually, they have very little of it) so be organized. Front loading your petition, handing in thoroughly completed and organized paperwork for the interview, having proof of relationship, and being confident works well in your favor.

Thank you all. i'm really excited and scared. I'm going to go through everything thoroughly, be positive and not let those people frighten me.

On another note, travelling to Kenya is a bit intimidating. I know my fears are unreasonable. I have to calm myself and my parents too!
