hi everyone nytelo here,i had my interview on 17th april 2012 and i was not issued a visa because i did not have one passprt size photograph,and was told to go submit it at any DHL branch which i did the same day along with my passport,now im a worried lady i havent heard any info from the embassy even the waybill number.is this normal,and if it is can it take that long?anyone who has been in the same situation please reply.thank you all.

I am also waiting to get the waybill number on the CSC website but nothing so far. The CO at the Embassy had asked me to check after two days. I did send the Embassy an email today since two days have elapsed to enquire what could be going on and waiting for a response. I agree with Jill, try sending them an email to enquire about the status of your documents. Am told it could take up to 8 days to get the visa/passport from DHL...but best you hear it from the Embassy directly. Hoping we do not have to wait much longer....try not to worry, it will be well.

Welcome to VJ I read your story in your profile and you mentioned that you married your fiance in sept 2010. If that is the case you dont want to file a fiance visa you need to file Cr-1 visa a spousa

[size="5"]The CO at the Embassy asked me to pick up the passport from DHL....no air bill number yet. Am hoping that it doesn't take too long to get it. [/size] She had asked me to check after two days..... The CSC numbers in Kenya do not work at all. Been trying to call in vain.

Even if you got through to the numbers, they won't be able to assist you...you're passed all that and once it's at the Embassy level, they cannot really guide you in anyway. I would just wait patiently and keep checking the website for the DHL information...it will be there. It shouldn't be too long now.

Today was the interview and we were approved am so happy about that, i wanna say thanks to all the Nairobi members and everyone else here , i will post an update of the experience for people to see otherwise thanks for the prayers and the great help. Be blessed all and will continue to help each other and support as we have thanks again guys now to the next step of entry , enjoy your days good people really appreciate you all

:) I knowwwwwww, LOL. I will not even tell you how many times I checked the website for the DHL clearance before he was even called back for the fingerprints! :huh::bonk: I checked 'at least' six times a day ~ usually from Ben's phone because we had no computer while in Kenya! It's not easy, but I know you will get it soon. My prayers are with you...hang tight (F):luv:

i decided to go the dhl office to ask them what to do next since i cant find the form....the attendant there told me its not necessary since i have the yellow paper with me the one i was given containing the missing document,SO I SEND IT WITHOUT THE FORM,that has now become a problem im so frustrated.

So, are you saying that you sent in the passport photo without the slip that they gave you?? If so, just email them and advise that's what you did. They have on record what they need from you.

Got my waybill number and info to expect passport in two days.am so excited and I just can't hide it....
