In 10 days it will be a year since I sent in the I-130 for my wife. NOA-1 receive date to Vermont 11/14/07, Notice date is 01/23/08. I called and talked to a supervisor and all I got was B.S., she made out a referal form to send to who knows and gave me the number. I asked how long do I have to wait now......she replied 30 to 45 days, I said that is unacceptable, I said enough of the canned answers you study so well. I am fit to be tired or go nuts here. I got denied once at Guz already, not a bonafide relationship. I have been going through this for lets see, can I say 4 years.

This is the biggest bunch of bureaucratic B.S. i have ever encountered, and to have no recourse. I guess the saddest of all THEY DON'T EVEN CARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hay people thanks for the ear.

oh i am really sorry to hear this :( i am in the same setuation as yours. i filed the first i-130 in jan-2007 and they deny it in oct 2007 at the local office for lack of evidence which was a big B.S because i sent them 5 pound box full of evidence and then when i appealed it at the local office they send me a letter after 5 months telling that they lost the appeal???????? so i filed a new i-130 again in july of 2008 and i been away from my husband for 2 years and 1 month now just waiting on the i-130 to be approved . i really dont know who is incharge of things at uscis but one thing i know for sure that they are not doing their job and they dont care about us .

I totally agree...no one wants to tell me anything...they don't want to help nor are they willing. they won't even forward me to someone that will help. The government trains them to be unhelpful...sad

Have you tried making an Infopass appointment to see what they have to say about your case? If that doesn't work you can definitely contact your state representative to see what their office can do for you. Twelve months is unacceptable, I agree.
