Indiana is CLOSE at the moment. My county - Putnam - is currently blue; by 1%.

Putnam county is over to the west, a couple of counties from the Illinois state line, and about in the middle, north-south-wise.

50%-49% with 17% reporting.

Do any of you Obama supporters realize the irony of blessing or damning states based on which way they go in the electoral college today and Obama's original DNC speech in 2004 (and repeated in other speeches) with the theme of their are no blue or red states. . . ?

Dont forget that McCain is part of the problem. He pushed for Deregalation for the banks. And everything that gets deregulated causes major problems, Look Airlines, etc..

Also Indiana is being pushed left and Barrack is making it much closer then before. Bush in 2004 had almost the whole state. Now it is a toss up.

I don't care what Obama says about blue and red. He isn't my Messiah. I would just prefer to have the state of my birth be a little more liberal than it is, is all I'm saying.

Look into the principle of federalism. There are other states more to your liking.

The point of voting for change is to improve. If Indiana votes Blue its because most residents of the State are more interested in issues rather than in continuing the downward spiral.

Change the Weimar Republic because it couldn't get worse, right?

You may want to connect the dots between Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and where all the campaign contributions went. Obama managed to be the the number 2 man in contributions for being paid to do nothing during the housing meltdown- great judgement for a first termer.

Look up the difference between a recession and depression before you complete render the terms meaningless.
