morning people, it's a happy day at last for me! If anyone is thinking of getting surgery (hint hint jess) beware of percocet!!!!!!!!! I was only on it for a week and a half but lemme tell ya if you're predisposed to depression once you're off the stuff you go deep deep down!!!!!!! Luckily I think I'm out of the woods now but it was NO trip in the park lemme tell ya. I was on the lowest dosage too!!!

Voted this morning and was kind of suprised to see NO McCain people out at all. I guess they just give up on Massachusetts altogether. Other votes were for eliminating state tax, stopping greyhound dog racing and eliminating the criminal element of possession of marijuana up to one ounce. What's weird is the ad against it says one ounce is equal to a "small loaf of bread". I'd like to see THAT guy's dealer!

Gonna go bark at IT. I ordered a new mouse yesterday and no one came. My ball thingy on top (not the one on the bottom) won't work and it's totally screwing with my karma today.

They gave me perc's after my csection because i have an allergy to demerol. I didnt take them after my csection i just stuck with advil or somethin like it. I dont think ill take them after this surgery either but we will see.

I go for an ultrasound on Friday, and am supposed to wait 1wk for the result of that---yep even though i already gave them my report from my saudi dr, go figure---and after we get the result THEN they will schedule surgery. nooo fun! but she did tell me if i have more then 2 attacks between now and them to just go to the ER and tell them im already being worked up for it and not to leave until after they take it out. So we will see!

Happy Election day everyone. i havent voted yet, i will probably go after my mom gets home...but i cant find my registration card.

I was supposed to wait a week for an ultrasound too but the pain was too bad so I went to the ER. Actually it ended up being the same since I had to wait for the appt with the surgeon anyways. They won't do you at the hospital unless the stones are in the bile duct that goes to the liver, or that's what Mass General told me anyways.

My hat's off to you for not using anything strong after a c-section! I"m a big pain wimp so I needed every bit of what I took!!! I'm still taking meds for pain but just two Bayer asprin every 4 hours. The stitches in my belly button hurt the most.

Just a 411 make sure you have some loose pants/skirts for about two weeks after the surgery. Mine was two weeks ago this coming Thurs and my stomach is STILL wicked bloated even though I've lost a good 15 pounds from not being able to eat much other than jello and poached fish.

I get my stitches out on Friday and then I can FINALLY take a bath! I love a nice hot bubble bath when I'm super stressed and have been missing that sooo much especially since it was so cold out here recently, though now it's in the 60's.
