So here it is

I emailed USE London to advise

I have just received my initial contact re application for my K1 visa. Anecdotal information from others who have gone through this process suggests I should have received forms to fill out and send back, or instructions on where to find them but they weren’t enclosed.

What I did receive is

Page 1 - cover letter - says Fiancé (e) K1 Instructions are enclosed.(they dona't appear to be)

Pages 2 & 3 which are double sided is the IV19 - which is titled - FIANCE (E) VISA INTERVIEW

Pages 4, 5, 6 and 7 are also all double sided the IV 18a (IV medical) - 04/07 Knightsbridge which is The Medical Examination, FAQ's and maps.

I'm sure there is something missing. I have nothing with check boxes on it or asking me to send back forms could you please advise?

Additionally I had my medical completed before I left Australia with an approved Doctor, including x-rays. (Details of doctor listed below) Am I allowed to use this as my medical it is less than 12months old having been completed in December 2007 and at the time did not know I would end up in the UK. I have the entire medical packet with me.

I look forward to your reply

and they wrote back saying

The medical examination must be undertaken by the panel physician's, Knightsbridge Doctors, who have been approved by the Embassy in London.

The instructions that were sent to Ms. Fernleigh explain how to download the DS-230-1, DS-156, DS-156K, DS-157 and IV-15 from our website at http://london.usembassy.gov/cons_new/visa/.../visaforms.html. They should be completed and returned to the Immigrant Visa Unit, U.S. Embassy, 5 Upper Grosvenor Street, London W1A 2JB.

Only problem is I DON'T have the intsructions. Can anyone help me out? In the mean time I downloaded the mentioned forms completed them all and now I don't know what to do.

I've sent a second email asking for the instructions but no answer as yet. HELP please......

I believe the form you want is the IV-15, which is the check list. They have been known to forget to include this. You can download it online.

Ps. did you try to call?

I'd send it off with a cover letter.

The instructions you get are for the medical ect too, but you have that done and dusted already.

Good luck you 2!

PM me an email address and I can give you online access to P3. It's msn based so hotmail, msn, or live mail is best.

They sent you the P4 stuff (IV19).

This is what you send back asap

•DS-230 Part 1, pages 1 & 2 completed

•DS-156, in duplicate, unsigned

•DS-156K, unsigned

•DS157 (males)

The checklist showing you have gathered your documents can be sent later, but if you have everything in hand, send with the above things. This is the list of what you should have in hand to take to the interview http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/visa/iv/docs169.html
