How long does it take for the visa to be delivered after i passed the interview? I was interviewed Oct 20, 2008 but they ask me to repeat my finger print oct 24.

It depends on the case. Some applicants in Manila receive their visas as early as two days from the date of the interview. Some receive their visas as long as three months after. In my case, I'm on my seventh week of waiting for my visa.

hi! If you don't mind me asking, why did it take that long? Were you required to submit uother stuff? Geez, I already submitted my resignation letter in preparation for my interview and for my departure. I really thought it was that fast. When my husband migrated in the US he got his visa after a week. What could be the possible reasons for delay in the delivery of visa? Thanks!

It's because of the infamous document verification of civil records or simply DV. I was asked to pay twice wherein the second one was after my interview. Verification was only completed last Friday. Most August and September applicants were hit by this DV thing. Unfortunately for us, the DV was "waived" in October resulting to earlier releases of visas.

Hello Good day, im new here im also wondering why my visa delivery take so long. My interview date was Oct.28 and it was a great one. i even ask the consul if im approved, she told me yes you are! but u need to submit additional requirements like CENOMAR and my hubby's divorce degree... then after that she says good luck! counter 37 called my name and give me the releasing papers.. last Nov.4 i submitted all they ask for and i ask the person who get my documents if i need to pay the document verification fee and he said no need to pay for that jus pay for the visa delivery fee, and then i pay the visa delivery fee... but until now no visa yet. havent't hear anything from them... im a little bit bored waiting for my visa pls help, anyone here has the same problem? its more than a month already and i want to spend xmas with my husband thank you, God bless us all
