I'm sure this won't be a popular thread or idea...but with only hours to go before the election,

I doubt there are many here that will be swayed with bashing of their desired candidate.

What I'm proposing is a truce until 11pm EST Tuesday.

If there's something good you want to say about a candidate (and sarcasm doesn't count)

then have at it.

If you don't agree with what someone says about THEIR candidate...leave it alone 'til 11pm EST.

No negative comments about the other candidate.

I think we've heard enough of the bad stuff about each candidate.

Take this time to tell the good stuff about each candidate.

At the end of the day, we're all Americans or folks that live in America, or folks that will live in America.

We all have a common bond (the immigration BS America put us through).

So let's try to put our political differences behind us for just a little over 24 hours.

Consider for this duration, the advice my mother gave me years ago, "If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all".

DIMocrats and RETARDicans...not reaching across the table and singing songs, but just saying that

we're all big enough to respect each other, and to call a temporary truce.

JUST 'til 11pm EST Tuesday, Nov. 4th

Screw that. Your candidate sucks. Whichever candidate that is.

But that's OK. My candidate sucks too!!

And what is so special about 11pm EST anyway? That's only 7pm my time.

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.

I was trying to be fair...a bit of humor...bashing each side equally...ya know?

Chlll...just for a few hours.

AK...I figure by 11pm EST someone will have conceded...and then we'll all be itching to post our opinions.

Yeah...you're right...I should know better. :bonk:

This will be death match 2008. A fight to the finish. Sudden death overtime. The last man standing...kind of thing.

The truce also gives all of us a chance to watch the returns without wondering if we're missing any spirited debates on VJ.

Let me try again.....

I love you Charles...I'd have your baby if I was a woman...but since I can't, can we have a truce? :innocent:
