Hey Jill,

What were they supposed to write on the back? Mine was blank.....which made me wonder why they wanted me to photocopy BOTh sides.

September 11th, 2004 - Met in Asia

May 2007 - Engaged in Hawaii!!

June 2008 - I-129F Petition

June (I think) 2008 - NOA1

October 2008 - NOA2 (P3 sent to wrong consulate by accident)

December 2008 - NON-legal wedding ceremony in Honduras

January 19th, 2009 - P3 finally arrives to correct consulate AND me!!

January 19th, 2009 - "Overnighted" P3 back same day. I am so efficient!!

January 23rd, 2009 - Montreal finally gets it. "Overnight" my a**!! Money refunded to me from Canada Post...ASAH!

March 27th, 2009 - Notified by phone call of interview date

March 31, 2009 - Interview Letter received in mail (P4)

April 6th, 2009 - Medical

April 17th, 2009 - Interview!!!

April 27th 2009 MOVED POE - Buffalo Peace Bridge

May 1st 2009 - Married!!

May 18th - SSN arrived in mail

AoS:

May 14th, 2009 - Filed for AoS - Come on NOOOO RFE'S!!!

May 22nd, 2009 - NOA1 for AoS, AP, EAD - California Service Center. ASAH

May 30th, 2009 - Biometrics appointment letter received for I485, I765 (where is the I131????)....date June 12th. 2009

June 2nd, 2009 - Biometrics completed

June 15th, 2009 - EAD Card production ordered!!

June 20th, 2009 - AP, EAD arrives in mail! (no email from CRIS)

July 2nd, 2009 - AOS Transferred to California

August 7th, 2009 - Green Card production ordered. WoohoO!

Good evening everyone. There was no new news from the state department today - still no interview scheduled.

I hope someone hears something Friday, I am tempted to call myself just because on Monday (when I normally call) was a holiday so I have been good and not called all week just WAITTINNGGGGG to hear on Friday Yes you have an interview scheduled LOL :) Because I figure if I don't hear it then I have to wait until the end of June to hear that.

We emailed montreal askign if we have an interview date yet and they emailed back saying 4-6 month waiting list OMG anyone else hear this ????

we hope your right that email freaked us out . and does calling DoS help ? what do we ask them?

Well I see you sent your packet 3 only a few weeks ago... it's a bit early to be calling for an interview date.... I know it's hard to wait, but a few weeks is too soon to be calling. You can try calling later on in the wait, and you ask them if you have an interview date yet.

Yes, we were told that too. Just like Jill said, that is their standard response. Our P3 got logged in at MTL on 3/9. So, we were figuring 4-6 months from then. We got lucky (somehow) b/c people who turned in their paperwork JUST after us and had their paperwork logged a couple of days after us, didn't hear for quite a while about their interview dates. So, hang in there!!! Your date will come!

Crossing the border this time was the hardest ever. I almost didn't make it when the POE guy said "I don't think I can let you in based on what you're telling me". It was our NOA2 that made a little sunshine in his day because he saw we were good little sheeple who follow the rules and have good intent! Phew! I'm so grateful to be with my family and let the interview date sort itself out. Now we can bite our nails together and drive down here alllllll over again in a few weeks! :-)

Advice to anyone trying to cross with a pending K1 - BRING YOUR PAPERS!!!

Well, today's Tuesday and I plan on calling in a few hours. I'll update this forum tonight with the progress!!

btw: Great job everyone with the 5 day a week calling program we got going on here! This thread is fantastic as are it's members!

I'm planning a trip to Oregon in late June. It's just a 5 day trip with my fiance. I was just planning to take my return itinerary and perhaps an employment letter that will be signed by my boss. Would that be sufficient? Thanks.

Hi, Looks like a long wait from what if taken a peek at. Hope everyone gets their interviews soon, im not there quite yet but hope to be soon. I have a question tho, my SO is going to apply for expidited paper filing due to deployment times, does that carry over to the montreal interview time( if he gets the expedition request ) or do we have to apply to them some how seperatly for posible expidition of the papers?

The fastrack would also apply to the interview. Not sure if you need to apply seperate? Perhaps emailing Montreal and asking?
