I am hoping to hear something by May 29 as well, if not I am going to ask them for the next possible interview date, this is getting rediculous. You'd think someone else would have had a date by now, or maybe they are waiting until the end of May to schedule all of us, since I did notice a lot of fillers got their p4 at the end of March. Has anyone noticed a NOA2 expiring before the interview was scheduled? I know I read somewhere that they can just extend the expiration date... just wondering because mine expires in about 6 weeks...

:-( I'm sorry yours is about to expire, that stinks! but yes, they automatically extend it from what I've read. perhaps you can e-mail them to be sure (better to have it in their writing )

I can't imagine that we won't all have interview dates by the 29th. but I'm the optimist

Don't worry, they'll automatically extend it for you!

I bet you guys will have June interviews. For April interviews, they didn't distribute interview dates until the very last week of march! Some people had 2 weeks to prepare.

Well if they do automatically extend the expiration date that seems to defeat the purpose of having an expiration date LOL. Anyways I e-mailed them and asked them. I think if I don't have a date by the 29th I am going to start calling them daily.

Well that makes me feel a bit better ty. I don't plan to move right away but not knowing is the worst.

I think you guys will have June interviews too, I haven't seen anyone scheduled for June recently.

And, if you're feeling down just look at my timeline, I waiting 3 months to find out my date! Not a lot of other people had to wait as long as me!

Removing Conditions

Sent package to VSC - 8/12/11

Yikes!!

I just wish they wouldn't do that to anyone, let alone us :-)

So... question - 156K? what is this?

Kristin is actually referring to the DS-156 - not the 156k. Do we still need to prepare a DS-156? The packet 3 never asks for it except in tiny little print on one of the other DS forms at the top.

We're not even married and you're already speaking for me

just kidding :luv:

Packet 4 will ask you for DS156, as well as DS160 and the DS 156k.

Great! More paperwork for the pile while I continue to wait! :-)

So here's a personal question: how many other here have broken nerves and extreme anxiety from the amount of time it's taking to get an interview date? Isn't is nice to know that countries like Cambodia have faster processing times than Canada? This whole visa process has consumed me.... I'm drowning....

I will try to visit my significant other in June so I can forget this interview date altogether. I have a letter from mom, employer, bank statement, Canada Post change of address confirmation, and our K1 papers to show Mr. Grumpy pants Border Guard . I hope it's enough....

Ummm I think the answer to that would be, everyone! It's completely normal to be wracked with stress this entire process
