just got home from montreal and we were approved!!

Yay Francie!!! When are you moving down???

3rd week of May. no exact date yet. i'll give my boss 2 weeks notice before i leave.

im still waiting for my visa. been checking canada post every hour lol.

Don't want to burst your bubble... but your Visa will probably arrive 1 week to the day of your interview (give or take a day). And, your online tracking will probably appear the day they're going to deliver it! LOL Ours did!!!

Ok so we have the Visa in hand :D :D :D :D YAY !!!! :dance:

It went pretty fast for us .. had my interview on april, 28 and they mailed it on april, 29 and I received it May, 1st :)

Granted I live in Montreal though so maybe that is why we received it so fast :)

Now on to finish up everything here and then I will hit the road and drive to sunny Florida to be with my adorable babe (L):D

My visa 'envelope' is actually 3 envelopes that say 'do not open'. I assume one is mine, maybe one is my son's? but what is the third? anyone else get more than one?

Hey all to those of us waiting for interviews still I got cheap last minute tickets to come see my fiance this weekend so I am here in Montreal sending good vibes to the consulate to hurry up and schedule us!!

Actually I just went to USAirways website and they were practically giving away the last flight out on friday night and i took the "red eye" this morning so I could be at work by 9. Worked perfectly. Total cost with taxes $200 usd. I was very happy with that usually costs way more lol.
