K-1 people waiting for interviews at Montreal

We still have the same roots and most of the words but nope, can't get what they say

I was with my future in-laws and fiance over the weekend in Montreal. We had a family get together on saturday and I was completely lost. My future mother in law told her mother about three times that I was an American and that I do not speak any French. She was too cute, still tried talking to me, fiance spent a few minutes translating for us I know about maybe 5 French words total.... lol

Yes, I actually live in Delaware about 30 minutes south of the Philadelphia airport. My fiance is the one moving to me, he currently lives in Montreal Where are you going to be living? What town?

I actually bought work with me. YUK! But its things I need to get finished up. I think I will go roaming today or tomorrow. I'm getting a cold so I would rather just stay in bed! I bought a GPS for myself at Christmas time, its paid for itself 10 times over on this trip. Those things are wonderful. No matter how many times I didn't make the turn it told me to, it still got me where I was going. Well for those that are there on Friday, see ya then!

OMG! What an awesome idea! I got a GPS for my birthday last year and didn't think of bringing it, because we'll be walking. But that's AWESOME! SOOOO glad you mentioned the GPS! Thanks, Wis-Can!

On another note... we'got a 9 hour train ride tomorrow to MTL, I think I'm doing thank you notes from the bridal showers. Oyyy... if I'm trapped in a box for 9 hours (as my fiance' says) I might as well be productive. He's worried about getting motion sickness, but I think he talks himself into the motion sickness, before we ever leave... like last night. Ugh.

Don't worry, they have barf bags on all the VIA trains, you'll be fine

Ok, confused yet again

DS 156 question 30 asks about ever being granted a visa. On the sample form on VJ it states "no", even though it listed the sample as having been to the US preiovusly.

A B2 (Vistor's visa) IS a visa, so should we not list that???

What did you ladies put??

OH and an FYI: I called Dr.Seiden just to get a more confirmed answer on the x-ray situ. She said YEs, you have to bring the x ray and forms. NOt sure if we NEED it, but I guess as a Just In Case they tell people to bring it.

Ugh, one more thing to lug around!!! But I guess if we are bored we can always sit and compare chests together HAHA

I listed yes, and wrote B2. They didn't have any problems with that answer. Some of my stamps didn't even say B2, but I still wrote B2. (most of them did). I also answered yes, B2 on my DS 160 (after I did the DS 156, I actually went back and re-did the DS 160 to ensure it was consistent because I didn't realize that I should've said yes, B2 initially on the DS 160.

I put no. Everyone says whenever you enter the US you've being given an invisible B2 visa but I have no stamps in my passport and I always go over by car, and nothing I have actually says "B2" so I really don't feel like I should put yes. When I filled out the DS 160 I said no visa there as well... Maybe that was a mistake on my part, but how am I suposed to know I was granted a visa when it's invisible? Anyone else get my logic?

When I did my form, back in the day I wrote "NO" when asked if ever granted a Visa.... in my mind I hadn't, I didn't know what a B2 was back then. No issues. I would still put no, how is the average person supposed to know what a B2 is.

Just to clarify. I only put yes because I have about 8 stamps in my passport that say B2, and maybe 5-6 that don't.

If you don't have any stamps that say B2 on them, then you should put no of course!
