Hi Everyone,

I have a question regarding the medical exam: do you have to bring medical records with you to the exam? Do the physicians screen your medical history? Just curious. :)

Have a lovely Day.

Ohh good point.

They will ask you questions about your medical history. If for example you had a serious case of depression and have been treated - you can bring documentation from your Dr. to outline everything. If you had anything major then yes, being some notes from your Dr.

Okay. Do they check in with primary doctor to get more info on your medical history?

No they won't as least I've never seen that happen. It is up to you to bring them any information about past illness that you want them to see or might need. They will not do any leg work. So if you do have things you think they might want or need about your past medical history that you think might put a damper on things, then definitely bring as much information as you can from your Dr.

Thank you! I appreciate your input. There are some things that are ancient (teen years) that may or may not hinder the process, so this is good to know.

Yes, congrats! The wait probably won't be that long, but it feels like forever anyways. Lucky for you, your fiance doesn't have far to go for the visa interview! I'm slightly envious :P

COOL! congrats :) try and get everything checked off and mailed back asap, once they rec've it, that's when the clock starts ticking for interview date countdown! I made the mistake if waiting a month! Even though I paid expedited service for my passport...

Good luck!!!! :)
