I went from being super happy to super sad in a few seconds time. This whole process just fvcks with your mind. Just last night we were talking about how hard the long distance is and how we can't wait to see eachother (he is coming on Thursday).

I am sitting here at work crying and I can't stop. I don't know what to do. I called my mom and she says she'll do anything to help us plan a wedding in a fast time. My dad's a minister ffs and could marry us in my friggin backyard on a 2 second notice.

Well yesterday was an emotionally charged day for everyone! I just wanted to update that Sean is going to the November 20th interview and then packing his bags to move down for Christmas. I told him if January 1 is too soon to get married he needs to pick another day before the 90 days runs out.

I don't know if I will be able to go to the interview with him- so I might need someone with a November 20th date to keep an eye on him for me lol!

That is AWESOME!!!!! That is truly great news, Arabella!!! Congrats! I hope you can make it to interview with him. I was there with my fiance' (at the time) and I totally embarrassed him by kissing him as soon as she said he was approved! It was a gut reaction, and the interviewer just smiled and giggled at us.

Event Date

9/26/11 - NOA1 Receipt Date

9/28/11 - Check cashed

10/1/11 - NOA1 arrived in mail

We'll make sure he's standing at the right doors.

Haha Thanks guys. He'll be easy to spot. He looks like he is about 17 and is super-skinny. Don't tell him I said that though! lol

I want to be there so badly!!! I could totally take the time off and buy the ticket- I just need someone to watch my kids and my mom acts like it is the worst form of torture to watch them for me. :(

finally..i found people whom I can share my feelings with..it's a pain..i sent my P3 on sept 17,and until now,no luck yet..but I hope we can be with our loved ones by Christmas..it would be the best Xmas present.....good luck to all of us

It *would* be the best present....and I still have hope that it's going to happen...not giving up yet.

I just sent my packet 3 in on oct 27th, thought it was going to go so fast cause when i look at ttimelines people were getting it so fast and their interview dates were like a month after sending, am i gonna be waiting 6 weeks? :-s

I think it all depends, you may not wait as long as I have...or you may wait longer. I wish I knew how this all worked with the consulate. There are people who sent in their checklist a week before me and have already gotten their visas...so I have no clue how it works =( I'm just REALLY REALLY hoping that they are even having interviews this month...and that I get one of em! =)

Good luck to us all, and post as soon as you hear anything!

i share the pain with u guys i been waiting for 2 weeks and there is examples here show that they been waiting for the K3 interview date for 3 months !!!! and even the package 3 said that will take 4 to 6 months is that true?

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

<back to interview>

Me: "Yes, yes I do."

I am a bit behind all of you with my immigration timeline. I just called to see if my packet 3 had been sent out. She informed me it had (yeah!) and that I did not have an interview scheduled as of yet....lol They must be anticipating that question today!!

With all the K1 interviews being scheduled yesterday, I am wondering now if it would still be beneficial to try to move it to the Van consulate (I could 'move' to my parents in Alberta so that would be possible) or wait it out at Montreal. I am being laid off from my job at the end of Nov, so I was hoping to not have to wait too long for the interview....and as of last week going to Van seemed like the best choice! Now I am torn :(

Tough call....I am also waiting on my packet 3 and last week was thinking the vancouver thing as well. I guess I'm just gonna send it back to Montreal and pray they don't screw the next batch of us over and make us wait till April and then schedule everyone who sent back their packet 3's from october to march at once. Who knows what they are going to do. All we can do I guess is pray they've caught up now and CONTINUE to KEEP caught up....

How many people are still waiting for interviews?? I seen a couple here and there but its so hard to keep up they've scheduled so many here lately.....can we start a list of still waiting for Montreal interviews? I'll be on that list probably next week. We called today and apparently my case was sent to Montreal on the 15th and packet 3 was to be sent out either today or tomorrow.
