The last time I called DOS I got a woman with a thick Jamaican accent. The system was down and she couldn't access my information and just kept saying, "I'm sorry ma'am, so sorry ma'am" :lol: If I wasn't so annoyed with her being unable to tell me anything I would have found it cute.

Yeah, the lady with bad english (I got her too) said that to me on the phone.

At least we know if we don't have an interview by November we can start bugging them directly :)

peachey, when you start ripping them a new one, do let us know because i'm certainly looking forward to my turn! ;)

08.09.10 - EAD received!

01.05.11 - a ###### RFE over 6 ###### months after the fact

02.01.11 - touched

02.14.11 - APPROVED (finally)!

02.25.11 - received green card in the mail

DONE WITH USCIS FOR 2 YEARS!

No he emailed them asking if they could let him know because he needs time to book time off for the move and stuff, he sent it last week, they just replied today. My mind if like...racing...my hands are shaking and im on the verge of tears..so many decisions now! Its like...I didnt think it was actually going to happen...

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"
