Varba is a mysterious phantom that shows up randomly then fades away

Fantastic! :D

I DO have a shirt that says "Just so you know I'm a ninja.".

Peachey bought a shirt that says "My boyfriend is a ninja."

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

<back to interview>

Me: "Yes, yes I do."

I have the grandest idea of them all. It beats e-mails and phone calls, hands down. How about we all show up to Montreal and protest outside! We can make creative and catchy yet embarrassing signs that draw attention. Then, at the end of the day, they'll be so annoyed they'll work late and grand you all interviews just to make us go away.

I've already had mine, but I'm into helping! That and I just want an excuse to go back to Montreal..

:D

It would be hilarious to do that if we all dressed up as brides... we could throw bouquets at them :P LOL

Might be tough for me, but I can give it a go.

Think they'd notice if I had brick "flowers"?

Automatic response from Montreal:

hank you for your inquiry. After analyzing the large number of incoming emails (we average more than 1,000 every month), we are providing this automatic response to answer the most frequently asked questions. If this response does not answer your question, please be patient for a specific response, hopefully within 4 to 5 business days If your question can be answered by the list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) below, our office will consider that your question has been satisfactorily answered.

Frequently Asked Questions: Table of Contents

1. I have sent multiple inquiries, but have not gotten a response. Why?

2. Where can I get more information about Immigrant Visas and the NVC?

3. When will I get an appointment?

4. If I cancel my appointment when will I be rescheduled?

5. Where will the interview take place?

6. What photos do I need to bring?

7. What documents do I need to bring?

8. How do I add a family member to my case?

9. Does the petitioner need to come to the interview?

10. Who must attend the interview? Do I need to bring all my children?

11. Can I pick up the visa the same day?

12. Do I owe any money for the visas?

13. How do I book my Medical Exam?

14. How do I check the status of my waiver?

15. How do I check my priority date?

****

Q3: When will I get an appointment?

A: If your inquiry concerns an immigrant visa case where the I-130 petition was filed at a U.S. Consulate in Canada, please be aware that there is a high volume of cases waiting to be scheduled for appointments. Resource shortages may delay processing for 4 to 5 months after we receive notification that you have all of your required documents. Please remember to bring ORIGINAL documents of birth, marriage, divorce certificates, etc. Thank you for your patience. If you have submitted a checklist and 4 to 5 months have elapsed and you have not received an interview date yet, please inform us immediately.

If NVC sent you a letter stating that your file is complete and it has been sent to Montréal for scheduling, the file has, in fact, NOT been sent to Montréal. Rather, it is waiting at the National Visa Center (NVC) until an appointment can be scheduled. Due to the high volume of immigrant visas we process, there is currently a 2 to 3 month wait for scheduling appointments after NVC receives the OF-230 (parts 1 and 2) and all the forms listed on the OF-169 checklist. You will receive an appointment letter in the mail when your appointment has been scheduled by NVC. You can expect to receive this appointment letter several weeks before your appointment. Please remember to bring ORIGINAL documents of birth, marriage, divorce certificates, etc.

If your inquiry concerns an immigrant visa case where the I-130 petition was filed in the U.S. and it has not been scheduled for an appointment, please send your inquiry directly to the National Visa Center. To contact NVC, please forward your inquiries by email to: NVCInquiry@state.gov. If you have been informed by USCIS that your petition has been approved and forwarded to the Department of State, please contact NVC directly.

Thank you,

That doesn't mean anything. I sent in my package on November 17th and I wasn't logged until the middle of December either. That still made it around 90 days from the day that I sent it, not from when I was logged.

Removing Conditions

Sent package to VSC - 8/12/11

NOA1 - 8/16/11

They wouldn't even tell me when i was actually logged (tho they said July) but that's making me wonder when I got put on the interview list.

I'm really seriously considering resorting to voodoo.
