they have to be taken within 6 months from the time of the interview i believe. they want them to be the american size. i got mine done at the real canadian super store i told them not to date stamp the backs like they usually do.

also,

i went to check up in the general K1 forum and it made me sick that all of these other countries are already with their SOs and they got their NOA2s WAY after most of us.

Hooray then.

Time to go waste more money on passport photos.

And I agree with you Missa about your second comment... it's pretty unfair.

So I just realized my NOA2 expires on the 7th. I know its no need to panic but I emailed them to request the extension just incase (I know that they usually extend the NOA2's automatically but hell, I dont trust them)

Mine was way expired by the time I had my interview and I never did anything and they automatically extended it, no worries.

Yeah that's totally normal, mine was over a year ago and it expired too.

CR1 here with a theory??? And no, I did not get an interview for November so...

I have noticed that for the past 2 months, they have scheduled the CR1 interviews at the end of the month, not during the first two weeks of the next month, you know? I saw about 5 of our clan get interviews and they have been waiting since june so... I do believe that now they'll start doing the K1s and that they are FINISHED with the CR1 scheduling. Based on logistics and the law of averages, 5 from CR1s from this site alone has to be indicative of the total number that they have scheduled for November.

So. It's BS when they say the first two weeks of every month and I think you K1s are next.

Just a theory from someone wishing all us waiting Canadians luck.

K?

:)

Good theory, but I really think they have no concrete method of scheduling interviews.

I'm going to stop complaining tho. Yesterday I got back in touch with a friend from Arizona. He's waiting for his wife to come over from China, they got married in 2005 and I'm sure petitioned not long after. 8 months is NOTHING compared to 4 years :S

Oh my gosh....

This is true but it's really hard to look beyond the scope of our own stories and such. But, upon reading about your friend and such, you're right. Not saying I'm going to stop complaining and analyzing though! ;)

Good luck to you all...

Hi everyone,

So I got my packet 3 today but because of the photo requirements, I don't think I can send it today. I think I'm going to need to take 7 photos today:

3 for the medical

2 for the two copies of DS 156

2 for my two copies of DS 156

I think the one that I uploaded for the DS 160 might be a lost cause now...does anyone know if that one has to be the same? If yes, then I might need to redo it :(

Thanks!

Tina

Well, the thing is about the lease is that I'm "Subletting" but it's not exactly allowed according to my boss's contract.

She was the one living here, I lived in the 2nd room for a few months then she moved out.

So... yeah.

No trouble so far, I guess the whole "No subletting allowed thing" isn't really that predominant in their minds.

I just read my P3 again and you dont need them until the actual interview/medical.

You dont send them now.

That's how I read it. And you only need 5, not 7.

No, I believe they do that at the interview, from what I've read in the reviews.

You can't walk into the consulate.

It's not allowed.

And they're taking about 90+ days to schedule interviews right now.

So join the waiting club.

Ok, I guess that means I am ready to send in my packet 3.

What about the checklist? Do we mark down as "Obtained", including the medical?
