Hello everybody!

Am I the only one with an interview this week? I'm a bit nervous since we just realized that we needed a co-sponsor....the household threw me off since I was thinking more of a physical household, but it's in fact ALL dependents....so hopefully my SO can have these papers here for me before my interview on Friday.....

Looking forward to the interview...I'm not nervous, just excited!

Good luck!

good luck on your interview, mine was on July 29th, it was very laid back, few questions and i was done by 9am(most of it was just waiting around). My advise would be: be organized and get there early(I was there at 6:30 and second in line).

thats awesome childress! Hopefully we get some more interviews through soon! I called again today and still nothing. I'm really hoping that we get one before the end of september cuz of his time off, but I'm not super optimistic.

Thanks everyone! Danu, did you try to email them and explain your situation? They are scheduling interviews for September now, so now would be the time to ask. :-)

Yeah I had emailed them about 2 days after i sent my package back and they said they would try to get me in "soonest" for an interview based on the timeframe. Hoping maybe I will hear something end of next week or else I have a feeling it will be an October interview, if I'm lucky.

Just received and email today saying that they received my packet #3 and I'm on the waiting list for an appointment.

This could take 4-6 MONTHS! really? is that like a worst case scenario?

DCF in Halifax June 8th

received packet 3 July 22, Montreal received it the 26.

It wouldn't hurt to email them again and give them a polite reminder. ;-)

I think that is worse case scenario. So far I haven't seen it take that long for most people. We got ours in 3 months.

I have been waiting 6 weeks for an interview date...I am trying to be patient. I read here that Montreal is backlogged? Does anyone know if this is still the case?

The woods are lovely, dark and deep; But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep...
