YES!! i get home today from montreal and picking up my medical and i have an email stating my interview dates and time!! im not sure if others have gotten that but they gave me 9am as my interview time on august 10th? im going to show up early anyways to line up unless they changed it?

Hopefully that means more are soon to follow, I called DOS today and they said it hadn't been booked yet but that my package has been logged and a note was put on about our early oct wedding (I'm having one of my friends come down as a witness and its when we were hoping for as its probably one of the few times she can actually make it). Did you send an email to inquire or did they just send you an email out? Have other people gotten their times by email as well?

Yes and we even called DOS on Monday. I hope we hear something soon because that would be a big stress reliever for us. My husband is a student and it's hard for him to make plans about taking classes if we don't even know the interview date yet.

Be there around 7 am , the embassy actually opened at 7 45 when I went.

Oh I can definately imagine. Maybe you could email the consulate and ask if they have an estimate of when your interview would be as your fiance is still a student and would like to be able to schedule classes? Better, as hes the bene you can ask if theres a possibility of getting an interview before X date as your fiance has a deadline for applying for classes. The worst they could say is no, the best they could do is get you in really quickly :D

i emailed montreal about it and they responded asking what times are good and then they picked one, he is deploying soon so yea its expedited. im not sure but you could try to ask for an early time by emailing them and state that your friend can only come on that certain time and has to be there for the wedding but they may have different process for that since ours is military reasons. I hope yours works out tho!!

Yeah I already emailed about mine as Wes has a hard time getting vacation time after a certain date in October so we already have his time off tentatively booked, they said they will put us in for a quick interview date. Hoping that if Childress can do that as well that it might help so he can pick his classes.

Well, I think your case is a little more urgent than mine. :star: But we are going to email and tell them our problem anyway. You never know.

We're waiting for our interview too guys.. We sent our package 3 on June 10th as well !!!
