Totally not. My grandma may not have raised me... but she's always been there when I needed her. She'll be getting a call when I get out of lab.

She died 24 hours before her grandson becomes president..

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.

Um.....I think you have a reading comprehension problem. Nowhere in that thread did I indicate who I am voting for. I merely indicated that I hope Palin/McCain beats Obama/Biden.

Could we keep it chill for Grandma?

I know how proud I am of my son whenever he does something good. I can't imagine what it would be like to see your child or grandchild rise to the Presidency. It makes my mother's heart warm up and my eyes fill just to think about it.

But I bet she was always proud of him, ya know? She knew time was short. She had a picture of it in her minds eye. I bet that was enough.

There seems to be a big belief that she wanted him to be president, or would even vote for him. Do we know that is actually the case, or is it just an assumption? And why not vote early/absentee, if you knew you might be kicking the bucket soon?

On that note - does anyone know - if you vote early, and then die before the election, does your vote still count??
