Now that we are back to a 'normal' week until Friday, let's hope we see some approvals for the fellow VJ members that are due for an approval. Like Desiman, Jeca, CJGator, yours truly, wisdom, SraCastillo, etc.

of course, missed in the list is our dear friend, charisma1...come the f on VSC

Hopefully it won't be too long. Starting today, they've got 2 full-no excuse-weeks to work going into Thanksgiving. I think there will be a lot of Thanks to them if they knock out March filers and continue for later filers.

Hello everyone.

Which numbers are you calling to find out if your case is assigned to an adjudicator? Everytime I call to check something they just read me what is on the computer screen. Nothing new. They also tell me they are processing February 26th... where did you call that you got the updated processing dates of March 4th?

I read somewhere before that you can call DHS directly, but I couldn't locate that thread again with the number.

They've had several months of no excuses to work LOL...they'll continue to take their sweet time and get to our applications when they feel like it...

SraCastillo, I already booked myself to visit my husband in the end of December/early January also. At this rate, I might start looking at my March tickets now, while gas prices are still down :crying:

I appreate the thoughts, CJ-V, and a shout out to robbyrob as well. We haven't forgotten about ya, brother.

Well, I thought I would update the gang on my latest exploit with customer service. I guess the holiday must have done something to affect their mood up there, even if I did nothing about their productivity. Both reps I got were actually pretty nice this time, and agent/rep #2 (which is always the one who can see more detail on your case than the first one) actually offered to go in and look at the case to see what was going on before I even asked. That was a shock - albeit a pleasant one.

Unfortunately, there's nothing new to report. He told me the same thing that the people told me early last week. The case was assigned to an officer on 11/1, no decision as of yet.

So, same stuff, different day. I figure I will try again on Friday. Much like CJ-V says, it would be dam cool to see one of us "in the pack" with these similar and way overdue timelines to get an approval up there in the next few days.

Keep on keeping on.

CJ-G
