I wanna fly in to JFK as my POE, and I live currently in England, but, I want to go out to Spain first to visit a friend, and since I can fly to my POE from spain, seems stupid to fly back to England from spain, just to then fly straight out to the U.S.

So, any problem flying to your POE, from a country not your country of origin?

Big meanie.

Just one possible problem: luggage allowance. On transatlantic flights you usually get 2x32 kgs, on European ones - 1x20kgs. Your plans may be different, but when I move to the US I will want to use every one of those 64 kilograms ! :)
