Man I better beware when I get on my second hand road bike!

road rage can take on a whole new meaning ...

Lucky me I'm pretty good at not riding like a maniac... and I tend to ride on less used streets.

Still I'm going to make sure I don't 1) ride past AJ's building and 2) ride to the next VJ meet up.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

don't worry about AJ ... by the time you ride past his building he will probably have collected enough samples for distribution ... that he'll be stoned

Well I was kidding. When he sees my red computer eye approaching on my bike he'll put his rocks down for fear of having some copy machine activate and launch razor-sharp paper at him anyway.

Very interesting how the party for the people. The party for 'spreading the wealth' just so happens to have a majority of their members located in cities which represent the heart of capitalism.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Red state/blue state is silly. States do change colors (as we're about to find out tomorrow) and even if they didn't all states (except for maybe Utah and Massachusetts) are in reality a good mix of both red and blue.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

Add: 60% of USians believe in Noah's Arc....that a man lived to 900 years old, and got two of every species including trillions of bugs on a boat and had them all reproduce. And what with no woman, how did we get here?

Bahaha!

No woman? :blink: Noah wasn't alone. He had his wife, three sons, and their wives with him.

I guess you haven't read the secret books of the bible (that Spirit has) where's Noah's wives are revealed to have been born men but had sex change operations...

:lol:

"Although the Book of Genesis in the Bible does not give any further information about the four women it says were aboard Noah's Ark during the Flood, there exist substantial extra-Biblical traditions regarding these women and their names."

Then you have azzhole bike riders zooming down the sidewalks with no bells, horns or lights before dawn or after dark. Some of us with less than 20/20 vision can't see you in time - can't count the near misses I have had. Another pet peeve of mine is bike riders who think red lights don't apply to them and go through the crosswalk at full speed.

Depending on where you live, bicyclists can run red lights.

and die ...

bicyclists need to obey traffic laws if they want an expectation of a potentially longer life. motorists should treat bicyclists as they would other vehicles ... and bicyclists should treat motorists like the life threatening inconsiderate beings they are (always distrust a motorist cause there is a lot less protection on a bicycle).

Bicyclists are motorists and aren't. They're a bit special. It's hard to kill someone in a bike, unless they're driving 60mph+ in town and you go through their windshield like a deer. In which case, you have yourself a two-fer! (bicyclist and crazy driver eliminated). :P

so who or what entity determined what defines a Red State or Blue State ?

And how long ago did this determination come to be?

I challenge the scholars on VJ to answer this question.

Note:

In the cold war era ....

Red = communist = bad

Blue = republic/democratic = good
