I have read the guides and see that to file for Adjustment based from my VWP and my marriage to a US Citizen that we must file the following:

I-130

G-325a

I-864

I-485

I-765

I-131

Can someone direct me to a link that shows the fees for this so we know how much we must pay? Do we do seperate checks for each form?

The fees are $355.00 for the I-130 and $1010.00 for the AOS packet. 2 checks are needed 1 for the I-130 and 1 for the AOS.

Each for is listed here and you can check the fee.

now im really confused i thought that if u filed the two things together the complete fee was $1010.00 and if u filed I-130 with out the change of status that was the only time u had to pay $355.00 separate so that makes the total the way that it is looking $1365.00..........

that site is very confusing because i also read that to apply for citizenship for an adopted child is 4 something when a child comes into the usa under the new adoption laws of the usa they are automatically usa citzens and all u have to do is show the papers of the re adoption of the child in the usa at the passport office and u receive usa passport.......and the only reason i know that is because we were waiting until my 16th birthday to apply for my citizenship so that i could really understand what that was about.......but i went to sleep when i was about 14 and woke up a usa citizen because of the law that immigration and state department made.......so i guess my point is how can anyone make heads or tails out of that site when i found at least one item of wrong information on the site?

Is there a fee for the biometrics separate from this? Do we need to include it with the rest of the forms? What about the medical exam? Do we need to have it done and included with these forms?

The I-485 fee is $930 + biometrics is $80 = $1,010

Medical fee is extra and should be done included with the I-485

YMMV

The biometrics fee is included with your AOS package. It's the $10 i believe in the $1010 for the I-485. The medical exam price I-693 varies for each civil surgeon and depending on what shots you've already had. Call around for the best prices in your area. You should include the I-693 in as part of your I-485 package.

It's required. However, i left mine out of my AOS package because if i had to wait for it my I-94 would have expired by the time i sent it out, so i chose to wait for an RFE and then sent it off. It depends where you're at with your visa waiver status and how long it's going to take to get the medical in hand. Most offices will tell you their approx processing times over the phone.

Good luck!

Richard

Thank you VS, what if I cannot get the I-693 in time to file before my VWP expires? Someone said I can still file and then wait for an RFE? I am more concerned about over staying than an RFE. Suggestions? thank you

Send off your AOS packet as soon as you can and just be ready to send the Medical papers when you get the RFE. It is better to file before your VWP expires and get a RFE than to wait a few weeks and be out of status.
