Thank you so much for all your prayers and well wishes!

It went better than we ever could have imagined. The officer asked my husband three questions..."How did you meet your wife?" "When do you plan to travel to the States?" "Where do you plan to live in the States?"...that was it!!! He was so nice to us and it was a very pleasant experience, thank GOD!!! He didn't ask for ANY documents other than the required ones we provided last week (Riyadh takes documents one week before interview)...no proof of domicile, no bank statements, nothing!

We want to postpone going to the States b/c my husband will get a big bonus if he finishes his current contract which ends in late spring/early summer. We told them we could definitely leave before that but finishing the contract would be preferable. The guy said that was no problem, he told us they could approve the visa but postpone the issue date so that the six months would fall when need it to. So, we agreed upon a date when we will return for them to issue the actual visa...so I think it all worked out great!!!

Thanks again to everyone who ever took the time to answer my questions and share their experiences.

The embassy let us wait until late January to submit the passport for the visa so that DH could finish his work contract.
