I have some questions that some of VJ'ers maybe can answer. What if there's a company in US that will sponsor your working visa while you are on the process of fiance visa, what are the implications of this? How long does the working visa get approval? Is it okay that company will file working visa while the fiance visa is on the process?

Thank you for sharing.

The question here is what do you want? Do you want to move forward with fiancee visa or working visa? Given this two opportunities, which one has a bigger role in obtaining your personal goals/plans?

Working visa is faster as compared with fiancee visa. Data is from my officemates who transfered to U.S.

I was also given an opportunity to choose between fiancee or working visa. After analysis, my fiance and I made a decision to move forward with K1 visa.

Well, my only goal is to be with my Bebe ko, wherever he is. I am just thinking if it is possible that the person could acquire two petitions at the same time. It isn't really my concern (working visa), just trying to see some considerations. I got some offers for work in my fiance's place that is why I ask. But I want our K-1 petition pursue. I'll just cross my finger that the company will keep my resume. :P If not, then I'll just try my luck.

Thank you for info.

Special circumstance H1-B? As the regular H1-B's are currently oversubscribed and no additional allowances until FY2010 (October 2009).

Oh.... okay. Anyway, I just want to know the possibilities. Don't really think so much of it. :) Thanks for sharing.

Once you are AOS approved, with SSN and EAD, you could go back to them and apply. No harm in trying.

Yeah. I am more excited to become wife. :P Also, I have another question. Can I enroll for school as transfer student while applying for AOS?

You can enroll, but it is highly probable that you will be treated as an international student which means higher fees and assorted costs. I've also heard that others have found further complications, so they might pipe in as well!

I had my working visa and fiance visa approved (by NVC) on my K1 visa interview. I told it during my interview and he said that they could give me one visa only. Since I choose to come for my K1 visa interview, I got my K1 visa. One thing you should know too: if you come with K1 visa, you should deal with the USCIS first to get a job and be a permanent resident.
