wealth", & "tax & spend", philosophy, will only create more debt, decrease productivity, & limit freedoms for our grandchildren! His (Obama) evasiveness concerning his background activities, would likely result in him failing a normal security background check.

I still wonder about this myself. I know that he shouldn've been given a clearance........

I don't understand why a humble respect for McCain's honorable and heroic service to his country is mutually exclusive with disagreeing with him and supporting another candidate. I thank John McCain for his service, and as a veteran I know that he spent 5 horrific years in isolation so that future generations of Americans such as myself wouldn't have to. I and millions of Americans owe him a debt of gratitude, and if I ever meet him in person, the first thing I'll do is thank him.

Having said that, I have never questioned his patriotism or his motivations, and I don't know of any Obama supporters who have either. So I don't understand why it's so important to run down the other candidate when these things simply don't matter. Both candidates are patriots. Both candidates are good Americans, and they both believe in core American values. Neither candidate is a "socialist" or any other pejorative label that's been thrown around so carelessly lately. Focus on the issues and let that guide you in your decision. You become small when you give in to fear and misdirection.

Good post! I agree, I owe McCain for his honorable service. However, I will not vote for him because he didn't touch based on the issues I believe in that matters. Therefore, I will vote for Obama. McCain has his goods and cons, same as Obama. Nobody politician is good because they tend to twist things around into a perspective that will make them be accepted by alot of people who generally cannot think logically, and follows a general view.

Mailbox is loaded with trash from the republican party plus about six calls a day, prerecorded lies. If McCain wants my vote, will dump Sarah, and expose Karl Rove once and for all, you are not voting McCain, but for Karl. Karl picked this alcoholic kid from Texas and vowed to make him president of the USA, he is good, as long as people are stupid. You can see where McCain is very uncomfortable with some of the dumb things he is told to say. But unless he takes a stand, doesn't have my vote.

Before Rove, was Atwater, check the history of these guys. Atwater converted to becoming a Roman Catholic asking for forgiveness for the lives he destroyed and the change of fate for this county. But nothing was done to correct it. While I am a republican at heart, not with all this ####### going on.
