I don't mind being ridiculed. I don't post to garner respect or popularity. The caliber of my opposition is nothing to crow about anyway.

VW you have a very inflated self image and think that everyone with a view different than your own is a liberal (you've used much worse terms in the past). I give you & your ilk such a hard time here because you stereotype, misrepresent & distort in almost every post you make. Personally I would love to see an intelligent, rational Republican to trade opinions with here but to be completely honest I can't think of a single one that posts in this forum.

Based on what I've seen here the right leaning posters are only interested in smearing Obama, labeling anyone with a different view a socialist, liberal, unpatriotic, etc. and basically just stirring up trouble. It's hard to take the high road & even harder to take any of you seriously because of your antics. When I post hard facts about a particular topic or proof that my views are very far from being liberal there isn't one single response & that's because all of you are here to push your bias & like I suggested to cause trouble.

Something like 85% of Americans (and that includes a whole bunch of Republicans too) feel that our country is headed in the wrong direction. All the clip shows to me is that the lady believes Obama will improve our economy (she mentioned gas prices & I believe house mortgages). LuckyStrike of course saw it as evidence of a clueless Obama supporter, which of course is not what the clip represents.

Kaydee you make my point... thank you. You are heavy on the ignorance, bias & hate and real light on the facts. As much as I disagree with VW and denounce her bias she at least has shown the ability (at times) to say something intelligent. You have never, ever shown this ability in a single post.

Why don't you compare & contrast the Obama and McCain economic policies or tell us how McCain's foreign policies deviate from the Bush doctrine, if in fact you believe that they do. Let me take a wild guess that if someone put a gun to your head you couldn't write anything intelligent about either topic.

While I do believe that the clip is taken out of context, expecting government to solve the problems of your house's value and the cost of gas, is folly. Government created these problems. They cannot, and do not, know how to solve them.
