Stefan is such an A$$wipe!!! Gawd I hope he doesn't win!!!

You are right about Jeff winning, it made me soooooo happy after all of Stefan's nasty comments.

The nerve of that guy putting the mushrooms on someone else's salad, and then thinking it was a fabulous dish?! He definitely deserved the ax.

As for last weeks episode, I think they sent the right one home, because the whole concept was flawed from the very beginning. No way to do a souffle in 1 hour, and he KNEW it!!!

Ariane is definitely getting lucky, after such a rocky start, but I have a feeling she's going to take another fall pretty soon. She's starting to get over confident, and it's going to bite her in the butt.

Roberto...you are a week late.... did you see last night?

I hope you are right about Ariane...she's annoying.

There really isn't anyone I feel that is doing that great...and there isn't enough controversy either.. LOL

That was a really bad theme for cooking though.

What bugged me more was that they didn't have someone doing "Four Calling Birds".... LOL

Me too!

Ad me and hubster to that list! One of the few food items in the 12 days that didn't make the cut...#######

I was surprised at how so many of the judges didn't like a lot of the chef's food last night. Ariane does crack me up though with her whiny voice...she sounds like Joey's ex from Friends, and I thought Josea's food looked better and was more creative then pretty boy Jeff's...

All done for the next 10 years...

On another note, I really like Jamie, but I think her attitude stinks. She gets so angry if they don't like her food and it makes her look bad.

I was surprised she wasn't more aware of her reactions after Rocoo DiSpirito criticized her so harshly after the TV challenge. She did the exact same thing this episode at judges' panel with her arms crossed and her defensive responses.

OOOOOOOOOKay... Just finished watching the 12 days episode.

Jamie should have been eliminated. I hate her attitude, and all she knows how to cook is scallops, which she didn't do properly this time. She complains about always being in the top 3 but never winning, yet she's been in the bottom 3 twice, and gotten lucky. She needs to take her angry lesbian poor pity me attitude and either get over it, or go home.

I really like Jeff and Hose, and I hope that both of them will continue on. At least they both take chances with their dishes, instead of playing it safe.:thumbs::thumbs:

Arianne and deviled eggs?!!! #######? The watermelon salad was one thing, but this is ridiculous!!! This is Top Chef, not Food Network. She got lucky with the turkey and the lamb, but her luck is going to run out, and I think Tom made that abundantly clear.

I love the fact that Tom came out and said the food should be fantastic, not safe or simple, which it has been. This season of chefs is not anywhere near as good as previous seasons.

Before I get off my soap box... what's up with Martha "jail house b!tch" Stewart?!!! I can't stand that woman! She's a freaking criminal, yet still getting all this publicity/notoriety. She has no right trying to tell people what's good, and what's not, when it comes to upscale food, or food that incorporates actual skill and culinary savvy. Martha and Rachel Ray belong in the same category, and that is making Mac & Cheese and other American comfort foods. Not award winning dishes.

They are lucky nobody was eliminated, because there were more than one who should have gone home.

yaaaaaaaay so glad i found this thread even if i'm a little late to the party. my thoughts:

1. this season's chefs need to step it up. a few of them stand out but no one is amazing.

2. although no one is amazing, my faves: Stefan (altho he is beyond arrogant and therefore very annoying), Fabio (hilarious. he reminds me of my fiance sometimes) and Jamie

3. I expected more from Eugene, Carla, Ariane and Jeff

4. I'm waiting for Radhika to make a good non-Indian dish.

5. me like Tom, a lot :)

6. Why is Padma even on the show? I get the eye candy factor but Tom is hot enough to hold it down. No one respects what Padma has to say about food. Gail, Tom and a celebrity chef is more than enough.

Impatiently waiting for Jan 7th :)

Fabio is definitely the man! Gotta say, I do love his accent, and think he is a damn good chef.
