Did you agree with the choice for who got dumped??? Or did you think the girl using Fahrenheit 451 peppers (despite OUR obvious love of them) for a crowd of Americans should've taken the axe? The quickfire challenge to me shouldn't have been close as Leah(?) was the only one that Rocco liked that followed the rule of making a Amuse Bouche...

My wife and I watch this show religiously as well as 2 shows on PBS...Made in Spain as well as Spain...On the Road Again (the better of the 2). Mario is such a hoot, Tv makes him look like he weighs 600lbs and prancing around Basque Country in his orange clogs and shorts is a riot. Gywneth Paltrow is a surprisingly great addition to the show as well.

I thought pepper girl should have gone since it wasn't about the spice level, but that she really didn't believe she'd f'd up. The other 2 knew they messed up.

As for the winner... WHAAAAAAAAAT??? She cuts up some tomato, watermelon, feta and throws on a dressing and calls it a day? That wasn't "cooking"...that was "preparing".

I liked the look of Leah's amouse bouche!

I think they let the right person go. I don't see how they could have kept him after the spit comment.

Poor guy though, he was devastated.

EDIT: oops, wrong episode. I'm getting confused since I watched both of them last night.

Yeah, creme brulee guy, what was he thinking?!?! I think it was ok that he left since he didn't technically complete the challenge.

I agree, Jenn. Plus, when Alex made the comment about doing a dessert basically gets you a free pass cos no expects a good dessert, I knew he'd be the one to go! Funnily, my colleague is friends with him and said she wasn't surprised to see him go so soon since he has a slacker attitude toward life

I really wanted chili pepper lady to go home but that guy talked himself into being sent home. He told them he knew he couldn't finish in time and chose to do the creme brulee anyway. He set himself up for failure.

As much as that other lady messed up they had no choice but to send that guy home.

On another note I thought when they started showing his back story and giving him lots of face time that he might be the one to go home....I had never really noticed him before. Anyway hope he had a fun wedding ceremony.

He's NOT gay. One of the gay contestants....Richard implied that Tom was, but its just wishful thinking on his part. Its just that Richard has a crush on Tom.

So what did you think of last nights show??? How about Stefan pouting? The right guy once again got the axe last night, although serving a disassembled "sushi roll" with nasty rice was just not too bright as well. I don't know what magic mushrooms the 2 of them were on last night but it was the same wavelength and from deep space....

Yeah, the right guy went home, because he thought it tasted good and was standing behind the dish. I thought it was gret when Tom said he'd like to send them all home...hehehe.

But Arial winning AGAIN!!!!!!! She got lucky.

You are right about Jeff winning, it made me soooooo happy after all of Stefan's nasty comments.

The nerve of that guy putting the mushrooms on someone else's salad, and then thinking it was a fabulous dish?! He definitely deserved the ax.

As for last weeks episode, I think they sent the right one home, because the whole concept was flawed from the very beginning. No way to do a souffle in 1 hour, and he KNEW it!!!

Ariane is definitely getting lucky, after such a rocky start, but I have a feeling she's going to take another fall pretty soon. She's starting to get over confident, and it's going to bite her in the butt.

That was a really bad theme for cooking though.

On another note, I really like Jamie, but I think her attitude stinks. She gets so angry if they don't like her food and it makes her look bad. Raw scallops? *barfs* What was she thinking?

I can't believe Ariane won the Quick Fire! That girl is on a roll after such a shaky start.
